Hidden Gems: Meet Courtney Clayton Cobb of Luxe Libations

Today we’d like to introduce you to Courtney Clayton Cobb.

Hi Courtney, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Courtney and I was born and raised here in Nashville, TN and I own my own mobile bartending company– Luxe Libations. We’ve been in business for about 4 years. The start of the company kind of organically happened.

I’ve always enjoyed making cocktails at home and trying out new recipes.

By happenchance, my cousin was in the process of rebuilding the mobile bartending company she’d owned so we joined forces and Luxe Libations was formed!

We’ve been in business since 2018.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
For the most part, it has been smooth. Of course, when starting up a new business, there is always a learning curve.

There have been numerous trial and error phases. However, I’ve finally made tweaks in operations that make things work MUCH smoother.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Luxe Libations?
Luxe Libations is a mobile bartending company that specializes in offering our clients an elevated drinking experience. We are fully licensed and insured. Along with mobile bartending services, we offer cocktail classes and make cocktail kits.

What sets us apart from others is our attention to detail and the aesthetic of our bar. I’m most proud of the corporate clients that we’ve had the privilege to work with over the past two years. We put together over 200 cocktail kits, shipped them all over the country, and had a virtual cocktail class for a major corporate company!

The main thing I want people to know about Luxe Libations is that we are multifaceted, easy to work with, and make some amazing cocktails! I pride myself on making the entire process from booking to the event as seamless as possible.

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
I would advise anyone starting out to make sure you have someone on your team with a strong business background. If you’re in business by yourself, then research, research, research!

Bartending wasn’t the hard part. It was all of the necessary paperwork, licensing, tax information, and insurance that was the most difficult to tackle.
