Today we’d like to introduce you to Dallas Jack. Him and his team share their story with us below:
Dallas Jack found his start in the Seattle rock scene in 2009. He’s worked extensively on the studio and live music front before moving to Nashville at the age of 17 for a Bachelor of Science at Belmont University in Audio Engineering. In 2018 he founded Record One, a multimedia production company based in south Nashville focused on Audio/Visual Production and Artist Development.
Dallas Jack is an experienced business owner and record producer in the music industry. He is currently developing several artists with his company Record One in Nashville, TN. He has also worked with a variety of well-known musical talents such as Sammy Hagar, Maren Morris, Keith Urban, Carly Pearce, Sam Hunt, and many more. Dallas has played an integral role with branding, social media, and the management of several businesses of all sizes.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
When I moved to Nashville, I knew nobody. I was a 17-year-old kid with a dream. I spent many sleepless nights up late in the studio, four failed companies, countless rejections, and many years struggling to pay the bills. Those are the pieces of an entrepreneur’s success story that you’ll rarely hear. I live my life choosing the road less traveled to condition myself to be able to handle the daily challenges more effectively. I am filled with gratitude for the mentors around me who have attributed to my success in helping guide the decisions I make in both business and personal life.
We’ve been impressed with Record One, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Step One: Record One.
We offer an array of services ranging from music production to scriptwriting for hit TV shows. We want to be the answer to the question “Where do I start?” as well as “What do I do next?”
As we have grown, we have made a point to always find a way to build projects around the client’s budget. We pride ourselves on low prices with a high-performance value.
Our Nashville-based production studio is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and resources to not only bring you the best production available, but also the answers you need on how to elevate your career and pursue your entertainment industry goals.
We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
In times of crisis; community is key.
We were fortunate to be able to continue operations throughout most of the pandemic. I am grateful to the network of industry leaders, truly wonderfully inspired artists, and the support from the community we have built around this studio.
