Hi Diana, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Certainly! My journey began when I moved to the United States from Ecuador with my family in 2016. Starting fresh in a new country was really challenging but exciting at the same time. I began working as a housekeeper, where I put my all into every task. My attention to detail and dedication has helped me build trust with my clients. I approach every task with the mindset of how I would want someone to care for my own space, following the principle of treating others the way I want to be treated.

As I gained experience and confidence, I realized there was a real need for reliable and high-quality cleaning services. In 2018, I took a leap of faith and established my own cleaning company. It began with house and apartment cleaning, but an opportunity to work with one of the best property management company in Nashville allowed me to expand into commercial cleaning. Since then, my business has grown, serving countless homeowners and businesses in Nashville and the surrounding areas.

Along the way, I’ve focused on creating a company that stands for trust, excellence, and care for clients’ spaces. While my business is a source of pride, my greatest joy comes from my family. I love spending weekends with my husband, Erik, and my two children, Mateo and Sarah, whether it’s a park outing, grilling at home, or a short getaway.

This journey has been about resilience, hard work, and pursuing dreams, and I’m incredibly grateful for where I am today.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The journey has definitely come with its challenges. One of the biggest was the language barrier. Even though I studied English in Ecuador, when I arrived, it felt like I barely knew anything. To overcome this, I immersed myself in the language by listening to audiobooks, reading, watching TV and movies in English, and taking English classes, which helped me improve much faster.

Another challenge was finding a place to live. Without family in Nashville, we had to quickly secure work and find a home. Luckily, I was blessed to meet Maria, an Ecuadorian woman who has become one of my closest friends and like a second mother to me. I even call her my “USA mom.” It’s incredible how people you never knew can become your family when you’re far from home.

Another challenge I faced was going through a separation and divorce from my first husband in 2020. It was a tough time as I had to navigate everything on my own while raising my kids. Managing work and family life alone wasn’t easy, but I stayed determined to push through. Then in 2022, I met my now husband, who has been the greatest blessing in my life. Life’s twists and turns can be hard to understand, but I’ve always believed that everything happens for a reason and ultimately, it’s always for the better.

We’ve been impressed with Nashville Cleaning Services LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Nashville Cleaning Services LLC is more than just a business to me; it’s a reflection of my passion for helping others and creating spaces people feel good in. I started in 2016, cleaning homes and apartments while also helping clients organize their living spaces. Back then, it was just me, and I poured my heart into every job, treating each space with the same care I would want for my own.

In 2018, everything changed when one of the best property management company in Nashville gave me the opportunity to expand into commercial cleaning. That moment was pivotal, it allowed me to grow my business and serve a broader community of homeowners and businesses in Nashville and beyond.

What makes my business special is the personal touch we bring to every job. We’re not just cleaning spaces; we’re creating a sense of peace and order for the people we serve. I take pride in building trust with our clients and maintaining the same high standards we started with, no matter how much we’ve grown.

What I want people to know is that this company is built on care and hard work. Whether it’s a home or a large commercial property, our team approaches every project with dedication and attention to detail. For me, this is more than a business, it’s a way to make a difference in people’s lives.

What are your plans for the future?
Our plans for the future are focused on growth and diversification. In the new year, we’re excited to expand our offerings by introducing pressure washing, carpet cleaning, window cleaning, and small painting projects. Additionally, I’m working on obtaining certifications that will allow us to broaden our scope even further beyond cleaning services. These steps are part of our commitment to providing comprehensive solutions for our clients while continuing to grow and evolve as a company.
