Today we’d like to introduce you to Elizabeth Burch.
Elizabeth, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Elizabeth Burch Interiors is 4 years old! I started my business in March of 2021. I had been a fourth grade teacher for 8 years before having twins and staying home with them for a few years. I was looking for my next creative outlet while also renovating my own home. I worked with a designer on that home and loved the process. I decided to take an online class and then started posting design mood boards and vignettes on instagram and the rest is history!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Starting my own small business has definitely had its ups and downs. There are so many aspects to a business that are hard for one person to manage. I wish I had had a better understanding of the business and finance side of running a business before starting, but I have definitely learned a lot of valuable lessons along the way.

Elizabeth Burch Interiors is a boutique interior design firm in Nashville TN. We specialize in residential interior design from new and ground up builds, renovations and remodels, furnishing and styling and virtual design plans. We love to incorporate color and pattern in our designs and we’re always going to suggest wallpaper! We have projects in Nashville and surroundings areas, like Franklin with quite a few in Westhaven. We are proud to have had projects featured in Nashville Lifestyles and StyleBlueprint.
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
A defining quality that it’s important to our success is our ability to blend elevated design with real life function. We are able to create a balance between beauty and practicality.
