Today we’d like to introduce you to Hannah McCord.

Hi Hannah, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
I started this business over two years ago. At the time, I was creating and designing clay earrings. I quickly realized I wanted to go wholesale with my jewelry and began connecting with several boutiques and salons to offer my products. That proved to be successful and you can find my jewelry in small businesses throughout South Central Indiana. After two years of growing the wholesale side, I decided to rebrand and expand my business into a retail boutique offering new and additional products to sell like clothing, accessories, jewelry, etc.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Nothing is ever simple but I believe in continuous improvement.

Over the past 2 years, I have expanded my marketing and increased brand awareness. If something doesn’t work out in my favor, I make the necessary adjustments and move forward. That’s the fun part of trial and error!

Simply Han is a brand that I created. The online boutique features trendy products ranging from graphic tees, cosmetic travel bags, hair accessories, high-quality jewelry and so much more!

I strive to partner with other small businesses. Each product is chosen by myself and I put a lot of thought and research into the items that I feature online. All items are unique with limited quantities which is very attractive to my target audience.

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out.
Slow and steady wins the race! You probably won’t go viral overnight but consistency is key to growing a thriving business.
