Hi Hudson, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
GiveSendGo Charities originated from GiveSendGo.com‘s desire to extend its reach to communities in need worldwide. Our first campaign focused on aiding the war between Ukraine and Russia. Soon after, we relieved those affected by a massive tornado in Austin, Texas and a school shooting in Uvalde. It was then that we realized the power of online giving and the generosity of the online community.

As we expanded our efforts, we recognized that people often feel overwhelmed and unsure where to donate to make the most significant impact. Thus, we decided to create a charity that utilized online crowdfunding to enable people to donate directly to specific causes with the lowest possible fees. GiveSendGo.com commits to covering all the processing fees for our Care & Relief campaigns, and all other efforts are free for the donor. We created an online micro-philanthropic community called the Giver Army, which consists of consistent donors who give a monthly contribution starting from $5 to one of the ten charitable causes we’ve established. These contributions are pooled to assist individuals and communities in crisis related to our causes.

Our fundraising efforts intensified when we began a campaign for East Palestine, OH, community following a tragic train derailment and chemical spill. Since our inception, we have made significant impacts worldwide and have seen our Giver Army grow. During our campaign for the families affected by the school shooting at the Covenant School in Nashville, TN, other companies joined us in our efforts. The school shooting at the Covenant School in Nashville, TN, was a tragedy that deeply affected our team at GiveSendGo Charities. We recognized that the families affected by this event would need significant support to recover and heal.

Thus, we launched a fundraising campaign to provide financial assistance to the families impacted by the shooting.

As we began the campaign, we were humbled by the outpouring of support from people worldwide who donated generously to the cause. We were also grateful to see other companies eager to join our efforts in making an impact. With the help of our Giver Army community and other donors, we raised a substantial amount to support the families during their time of need. This campaign highlighted the importance of our mission to provide a platform for people to impact the lives of those in need significantly.

It also showed that, as a society, we can come together to support one another during difficult times. Our charity is only one year old, and we are excited to continue providing opportunities for people to impact the world positively.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
While we’re proud of our progress, it has sometimes been a challenging road for GiveSendGo Charities. We’ve faced some challenges as a charity committed to providing rapid relief to those in need. One of our biggest obstacles is our need for direct donors who support our organization. Since we don’t take any fees from donors who give to specific causes, we rely on generous individuals who believe in our mission to support our operations and help us create more opportunities for those who need it most.

We also rely heavily on virtual volunteers who help us amplify our online presence and support our campaigns. As a young organization, we’re still growing our core community of donors who enable us to utilize funds to boost social media posts and expand our outreach efforts. The same goes for our network of volunteers who help us with the more minor details of our campaigns. Their contributions are crucial to the success of our efforts.

Despite these challenges, we remain committed to our mission of positively impacting the lives of people in need worldwide. We’re grateful for the support we’ve received thus far, and we’re excited to continue growing and expanding our community of donors and volunteers. We aim to raise funds and inspire local efforts that make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

That’s why we provide charitable crowdfunding solutions for people who want to make a difference. Our Giver Army community allows anyone to join and make a difference, even if they can only contribute a small amount each month. And we create charitable solutions for anyone. Our Legacy Fund program allows people to leave a lasting impact on causes they care about, creating a legacy of generosity that will continue for years. We also partner with businesses with special charitable projects they’d like to conduct but need their charitable status. With our campaign for the school shooting in Nashville, several companies partnered with us to get the word out, and we raised significantly more than expected.
