Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Hamrick.
Hi Jennifer, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I graduated with a degree in business management and have worked in sales and management for over 12 years. I previously worked in the social services field for 5 years with a nonprofit that helped families involved with the department of children services. As much as I loved helping people it was time for a change. That is when I made the move to Nashville. I moved to Nashville only knowing a friend and her family that had moved several months before. I was looking for a career change in something that would combine my background in business management and sales with my desire to help others. Through a recommendation of a friend, I decide on real estate. With my background and passions, it seemed like a perfect fit! I went to meetups/networking events every chance I got which was almost every night of most weeks. I started meeting people and building relationship. Through this process, I met some of the best people that I now consider friends/family. Networking events and meetups turned into me owning a networking event that has now grown into a networking company, starting a podcast, and growing a real estate career.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, any time you are growing a business there will be challenges and my path was no different. I found myself constantly stepping outside my comfort zone. This not only made me nervous but challenged me to grow as a person.
Over my time as a REALTOR, I have experienced some difficult clients, as well as, real estate professionals but that is part of the biz, heck, life for that matter. The struggles may seem hard when you are in the middle of them but I always find myself grateful in the end because I always learn something and love what I do!

I am a REALTOR® representing buyers and sellers on a day-to-day basis. I love this industry and the opportunity it gives me to help others. I enjoy meeting new people which is something that happens often in this career. I bring a strategic yet personable approach to the home buying and home selling process. Drawing from my years of experience in sales and business management, I have a reputation for refreshingly friendly customer care and proven ability to guide buyers to obtain the best value for their dream home and to assist sellers to a smooth, stress-free sale of their home. I understand that buying and selling a home is one of the biggest decisions in a client’s life and consider representation and guidance of my clients through this process a true privilege.
I also have experience working with investors to help them grow their portfolio, make the most off their house flips, or find the best use for their investment property. My background in business gives me the knowledge and experience of working with professionals.
What started out as opportunities to market my real estate business eventually grew into a business. I am Co-Founder of the Middle TN Investors and Wholesalers Network, as well as the Corkscrews and Contracts Real Estate Podcast. I am also Co-Owner of TN Real Estate Investors Association (TNREIA).
Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
Growing up my family always went to Disney World to celebrate Christmas. On Christmas Eve we would always have dinner at Germany in Epcot and go to the candlelight processional where they read the Christmas story and sang Christmas Carols. I have so many wonderful memories with my parents and my brothers laughing and all just being kids (including my parents, haha). There were so many other traditions that started throughout the years of taking this vacation, it made that time with my family so special.
