Hidden Gems: Meet Josmar Lopez

Today we’d like to introduce you to Josmar Lopez.

Hi Josmar, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
The beginning of a story with an unknown ending began in 2017, when I arrived in Nashville, TN. with a backpack full of dreams and big goals, which today I can say that has already begun to be fulfilled. I have worked in different jobs, such as from an ice cream shop to founding my own construction services business. After having done different types of jobs, I realized that no type of job fulfilled my hunger to learn, create, and live, and it was then in February 2020 when I decided to make the move, I quit my job in the car industry and opened my window cleaning business with my cousin but I had no idea what the year 2020 had in store for the world.

It was so difficult to continue with the business that I ended up spending all my savings, I even had to raise capital to be able to continue with my dream, and it was then in December 2020 that I remembered my grandmother’s words that said “if you start something, continue until you finish it” So since then I have not stopped, I have not stopped dreaming, I have not stopped learning, I have not stopped fighting, I have not stopped getting up after any fall until I built a company that not only offers one service but offers three services. Today, I thank life, God, and this beautiful state for the opportunity to live this dream.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Without a doubt, it has not been an easy road but I have enjoyed every second of it because I do not see “problems” I see situations that always teach us and help us to continue growing.

However, one of the most difficult things along the way has been gaining the trust of important companies because when they see that my company is run by a young man they have their doubts but when they see the quality of our work they are happy with our services.

So no matter your age, your physical and sexual orientation, if you love what you do, you will do it with passion and you will spread that passion to others.

We are a company in charge of providing construction services, our services are Block Foundation, Painting, and Construction Cleaning.

We work in cities in the middle of Tennessee, some of the cities we work in are, Nashville, Franklin, Columbia, Smyrna, Murfreesboro, Lebanon, and Winchester. We work for multi-family and single-family builders. Our teams are people who have been in the construction industry for years and our services are guaranteed.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
Nashville! Music City, an incredible city for fun, meeting incredible people, a city full of musical talents! I enjoy seeing how Nashville does not stop growing and I really enjoy the number of places there are to enjoy a weekend and the great opportunities it offers us. I can honestly say that I came to an amazing city.
