Hi Julia, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
We started Skyline Inflatables in June 2025 as a family-run business built by a father, son, and daughter-in-law (me). Both the father and son are veterans, and we’ve always shared a strong work ethic and a desire to build something meaningful together.
The idea really came from our own family. My husband and I have two kids, and we saw firsthand how much joy our oldest got from bounce houses. At the same time, we noticed there weren’t many options in our area, and we felt there was an opportunity to bring something fun, safe, and high-quality to our community.
What began as a simple idea quickly turned into something much bigger. Our daughter even loves being part of it—whether she’s helping out or just enjoying the inflatables herself. It’s been incredibly rewarding to build a business that not only serves our community but also brings our family closer together.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s never a completely smooth road when starting a business, and we’ve definitely had our share of challenges. From learning the ins and outs of the industry to managing logistics and growth, there’s been a lot to figure out along the way.
That said, every challenge has been a learning experience. It’s pushed us to grow not just as business owners, but as a family. In a lot of ways, those struggles have actually brought us closer together, and we’re excited to continue learning, growing and building this business side by side.
As you know, we’re big fans of Skyline Inflatables, LLC. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Skyline Inflatables proudly serves families and events within a 30-mile radius of our warehouse in Fairview, Tennessee. We offer a wide variety of rentals including bounce houses, bounce houses with slides, obstacle courses, water slides, inflatable sports games, and jumbo yard games.
What really sets us apart is our commitment to quality, safety, and customer experience. Every unit is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before each rental, and we take the time to ensure everything is properly secured for a safe setup. We also pride ourselves on being reliable and responsive—showing up on time and being available to our customers for any questions or needs throughout their rental.
As a family-run, veteran-owned business, giving back to our community is incredibly important to us. We love creating fun, memorable experiences for local families and events, and we also enjoy giving back through occasional giveaway rentals on our social media.
Above all, we want people to know that when they book with us, they’re getting more than just an inflatable—they’re getting a dependable, family-oriented company that truly cares about their experience.
