Hidden Gems: Meet Luca Di Fabio of Mundane

Today we’d like to introduce you to Luca Di Fabio.

Hi Luca, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself
I grew up in Italy and after high school, I decided to move to London to study songwriting but soon after I thought it was time to take it a step further and move to US so I packed my bags and relocate in NYC. I’ve always been into music and fashion so once I graduated college, I thought it would be cool to start my own company which is when I moved to Nashville. My idea was to mesh together all the things I love in one platform which is how Mundane started.

As a musician, I wanted to provide a platform for emerging artists to shine and share their art and as a fashion aficionado, I thought it would be cool to curate an exclusive selection of edgy and innovative designers and sell their pieces on my store. That’s the essence of Mundane; a platform for edgy and unique designers to sell their pieces and an online magazine to highlight the most eccentric artists from all over the world.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Every day comes with new challenges. Having started thing off right before the pandemic certainly didn’t help but by the same token it offered everyone the chance to improve their skills as entrepreneurs. I had to face a lot of setbacks along the way but every little struggle was a lesson learned.

We’ve been impressed with Mundane, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Mundane is a lifestyle brand that consists of a magazine and a fashion line which is made of exclusive pieces from some of the most innovative and edgy designers from all over the world and our magazine highlights the most eccentric and edgy creatives from every corner of the Earth. Mundane wants to be the final destination for edgy and luxurious designs for those who crave for their clothes to be as bold as their attitude.

What do you think about happiness?
Getting to work on developing an idea I came up with is the most rewarding thing because it gives you the opportunity to grow not only as an entrepreneur but also as a human being and creative which is the most important thing for me.
