Hi Marianny, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’m Marianny Ramírez, but everyone calls me “Mary”. I’m 35 years old Venezuelan woman, wife to a wonderful husband who has been my rock throughout, and mother to an 8 years old son who is the light of our lives. My family has been my unconditional support system, and I’m grateful to have them in my life.

In February 2016, I took a bold step and emigrated from Venezuela to Nashville, Tennessee, in search of new opportunities. It was a daunting journey, where I had to start from scratch, but it changed my life in ways I never thought possible. As a young girl, I was fascinated by the world of beauty, but I had no idea that I was about to discover my true passion.

Upon arriving in Nashville, I began to explore new possibilities, including the world of makeup. I was captivated by the way makeup could transform someone’s appearance and make them feel more confident and empowered. When I did makeup, I fell deeply in love with designing eyebrows and the way I could make each face unique. My goal was always to achieve healthy and radiant skin for my clients.

My passion for makeup led me to study aesthetics in this country, and I was determined to specialize in other areas and offer high-quality services to my clients.

It wasn’t easy, but I was driven by my passion and my desire to succeed. I learned about the latest trends and techniques in the beauty world, and I worked tirelessly to perfect my skills. After years of working in the beauty world, serving clients at home or in my house, I decided to take a professional leap and open my own beauty studio in Smyrna, Tennessee, called Mary Beauty Studio. It was a dream come true. At my studio, we offer a variety of services in the aesthetics area, from makeup and eyebrow design to facial and lash treatments.

I’m proud to have built a wonderful and professional team that shares my passion for beauty. We’re a team of dedicated individuals who are committed to providing exceptional service and making our clients feel like royalty.

My story is one of perseverance and dedication. I’ve worked hard to build my career and my business, and I’m proud of what I’ve achieved. I believe that my passion for beauty and my commitment to excellence have been key to my success. I’m excited to see what the future holds and to continue growing and evolving in my career.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Definitely, my path to success was not an easy one. The cultural and language barrier was a significant challenge in demonstrating my work to people. However, I decided to focus on the Latin American community to get my name out there, and as I progressed, this opened doors to other cultures. This not only allowed me to improve my English, but also establish a presence on social media.

Additionally, I faced the challenge of becoming pregnant shortly after arriving in this country. Despite the difficulties, I worked in restaurants to raise the money needed to invest in my work equipment and serve my clients. It was a tough period, but I don’t regret anything, as it allowed me to appreciate every part of the process and grow as a person and professional.

We specialize in eyebrow design, facial treatments, professional makeup, eyelash extensions, and micropigmentation. However, we are most known for our perfect eyebrow designs, which are tailored to each client’s facial structure. I love creating content and photography, and I have found in this a way to express my skills and passions. My beauty studio is a reflection of my creativity and my passion for aesthetics.
