Hidden Gems: Meet Mario Eberhart of Bun Appetit Catering

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mario Eberhart.

Hi Mario, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?

First off, thank you Nashville Voyager for such an amazing opportunity to highlight my story on this platform. It is greatly appreciated.

Born in the heart of East Atlanta, Georgia. Raised on the south side of College Park, Georgia. Mario Eberhart grew up in a loving home with 2 younger brothers and his single mom, Bunnie Smith.

Ms. Smith has heavily influenced Mario’s passion for whipping up culinary masterpieces. From the age of 8, Mario watched and helped his mom brew up flavorful bursting meals in the kitchen. From those experiences alone, Mario has learned how to prepare a variety of different flavorful cuisines ranging from Italian, Asian, Mexican and Soul foods.

Fast forward to his Junior at Creekside High School, Mario sold plates as a way to help his mom out with bills. By his Senior Year, He saved up to get himself through college at Tennessee State University. Over the years Mario gained a true love for serving those through his God given talent of bringing recipes to life. Today, Mario Eberhart is a Senior at Tennessee State University and sell plates to faculty, staff and the students on campus. The business is growing tremendously, his goal is to open up a restaurant in Nashville, Tennessee.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
There were definitely struggles along the way especially learning how to balance out school and the business life. It can be be overwhelming but I take it one day at a time, and remember to keep God first in anything I do.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?

What sets me apart from others within my field is my passion and ambition. I am such a humble individual, more than grateful for the clients I reach day by day.

I prepare great tasting food at reasonable prices.

I give my all into what I do.

Often I hear that you can taste the love I put into my food. So

If you haven’t tried Bun Appetit Catering yet, your most definitely in for a very special treat.

What are your plans for the future?
