Today we’d like to introduce you to Michael Calvo.
Hi Michael, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I was born and raised in Nashville Tennessee. Growing up I helped my father who worked as a maintenance supervisor for the Catholic schools in Nashville. After working for a mechanical engineering company for 12 years I obtain my state mechanical license and master contractor license and started Nashville-Air LLC. We began in 2016 and created the LLC in 2019. Today we provide commercial and residential services in Nashville Hermitage and Donelson Tennessee.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Starting a business can be a challenge however being in the industry that I enjoy and truly love makes it easier. There are many HVAC contractors in Nashville to choose from, Nashville Air LLC has decided to stand out from the crowd by offering exceptional quality service and customer service as well as standing behind our products to ensure long term customer satisfaction. Our biggest challenge has been keeping up with the demands of a growing city.
We’ve been impressed with Nashville-Air LLC , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

What sets us apart from other companies is we offer premium equipment with not only a 10-year warranty but also a 10-year labor warranty meaning any potential port replacement is covered both park and labor for 10 years. We offer this warranty with our York brand systems.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
I want to thank my mentor Bill Berkley for the guidance and support. Bill was a prominent real estate investor in Nashville and took me under his wing when I was just 20 years old. Bill provided me the knowledge and expertise needed to run a business successfully. He also taught me the importance of customer service and representing ourselves and our business with the highest standards.
