Hidden Gems: Meet Michelle Daniel of Day2Skin Aesthetic Studio and Spa

Today we’d like to introduce you to Michelle Daniel.

Hi Michelle, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My name is Michelle Daniel, LPN, LE. I am a Licensed Nurse as well as a Licensed Aesthetician.

I own Day 2 Skin Aesthetic Studio and Spa. I specialize in eyelash extensions, waxing, facials, and more. I have always had a passion for skincare products. I have experienced skin problems myself, so I wanted to dig deeper into what was causing these problems. I wanted to help others like myself. I wanted to learn more, so I decided to enroll in school at Brillare Beauty Institute in Chattanooga.

There I gained my certification in Chemical peels, Nano Needling, Pressure Point Facial Massage & More. I love the beauty industry. I grew up in a smaller town in GA we didn’t have a lot of options for beauty services or skin care. I wanted to bridge that gap. I knew once I graduated I wanted to open a spa in my area that was welcoming to everyone in my area.

I also knew my nursing background along with my aesthetic background that I would be a great asset to the beauty community. I specialize in lash extensions. I offer a variety of shapes and lengths. I do offer a variety of services and my spa such as facials, waxing, and spray tans.

My most booked service at this time continues to be eyelash extensions. I love my job. I love to help others. The look on my client’s faces, when they look in the mirror, is truly priceless.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has honestly been pretty smooth. I have a great group of people who support me and come to visit my business.

I knew god had a plan for me I believe this is why my business has been doing so well. My coworkers have been awesome by visiting my shop and passing the word along to friends and family. It continues to grow every week.

What makes you happy?
Time with my 3 boys and fiance. I work so much so I look forward to any time with them.
