Hi Nathan, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I first discovered my passion for photography and videography by creating short films with a GoPro Hero 7 Silver. The simplicity and versatility of the GoPro allowed me to explore dynamic angles and unique perspectives. These early projects taught me the fundamentals of storytelling, composition, and lighting, laying the foundation for my creative journey.

What began as a hobby soon turned into a deep appreciation for capturing moments and emotions. I became fascinated by the idea of freezing time and telling stories through visuals. This passion led me to pursue photography and videography professionally as I’m currently studying film at Belmont University, where I continue to refine my skills.

From those early days with a GoPro to working with more professional gear now, my journey has been driven by a desire to learn, grow, and connect with others through the art of imagery.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
For the most part, it has been a very smooth ride for me as a creative person and photographer. Every decision I make feels like a step in the right direction to achieving my goals.

One surprising thing most people might not know about me is that I have a strong background in music. I grew up playing a variety of instruments, including drums and trumpet, which has greatly influenced the way I approach photography. Music has taught me how to listen to rhythm, focus on timing, and understand the importance of movement and emotion—skills I apply when capturing moments through the lens. The connection between music and photography has been a driving force behind my creative process, allowing me to infuse my work with a unique sense of energy and story.
