Today we’d like to introduce you to Sierra Henley Ashburn.
Hi Sierra, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Nashville native with a love for growth, nature, reading, sports, and travel. Making a difference has always been my goal. Being a mom and owning a farm were my largest personal ambitions growing up.
How all that was going to look… early on, I wasn’t too sure. I have been blessed to work with amazing families as a professional nanny, serve the community as a 911 Dispatcher, and gain a diverse skill set through various education, employment, and volunteer opportunities.
In one of my last experiences prior to becoming an entrepreneur, I was able to step into opportunities that pushed me outside of my comfort zone and allowed me to identify my potential and joy for helping others in the business world. I fell in love with relationships and strategy. Over dinner with an operational leader and friend I had connected with during this season of life, she shared with me how she saw my potential and encouraged me to take the leap.
So, I listened carefully, prayed thoroughly, and completed my maximum level of overthinking. Identified the risk, held space for the possibility, and then jumped. Initially, I began Amplified Innovation, to utilize my skillset to make a difference and simultaneously build an income that allowed me to support my family and be home full-time to raise and homeschool my five kiddos.
As client relationships grew, so did the idea to expand the team. Team expansion with a diversified skill set has empowered Amplified Innovation to support clients in unique and more in-depth ways. For me, the idea of building a team filled me with joy because I am passionate about creating opportunities for women to utilize their strengths, in a non-toxic workplace environment. Each team member I bring on I see the potential my dear friend saw in me when she helped spark the initial idea of Amplified Innovation.
Now I have such gratitude for each connection, each new client, and every time the team and I can welcome someone new to join us on this journey. The collaboration together is beautiful. Making an impact happens in small and large ways every day. And those personal ambitions came full circle too, as I do get to be the homeschool mama, and homestead on our farm, Serenity Hill.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road of every entrepreneur is unique, however, there often seem to be common elements we each face. With a vision, comes excitement and excitement provides the motivation to kick off and momentum to keep going. The days in between can sometimes be lonely, hard, and heavy.
Even with a big vision, the next step is sometimes murky. I have learned to roll with uncertainty, by leaning into what I know is affirmed and can be trusted – timing and relationships.
I know we are here to make a positive impact so keeping the long-term perspective in mind is important. Identifying when to step back to the basics and strategize. Assuring myself that pause or pace is okay, and sometimes necessary for the next phase of growth.
Keep on going, and continue to trust relationships and timing. All will come together, to collaborate and co-create magic with the right people.

What do you think about luck?
Since launching, when asked about luck or how we do it… I too am still in awe and simply have so much gratitude, so I always share the same response.
God and the universe have opened doors for all to align, and I have simply been intentional about showing up and walking in. Due to being a believer in timing, and having immense trust in relationships, I continue forward to have the conversation, deepen the scope, grow the team, and do my part in each opportunity that is presented.
