Hidden Gems: Meet Stacy Arvin of Style & Soul

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stacy Arvin. 

Hi Stacy, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself
Born and raised in Murfreesboro, I grew up with a love for art, music, dance performance, and costume styling. After graduating from Paul Mitchell, The School of Nashville, my studies continued in advanced hair specialties, small business management, social media marketing, Reiki, holistic health, yoga, sports nutrition & fitness training. I’ve worked for three 5-star salons in Middle Tennessee and have been hired for events from Las Vegas to Montego Bay, Jamaica! 

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis at age 18, a doctor actually laughed at me when I revealed my future plans! After balancing pharmaceuticals for years, I began eating a plant-based diet at age 26 and my pain levels went from 8 down to 3 overnight. At age 27, I desired more career control and began focusing on how to incorporate all of my skills and experiences in the beauty industry. At age 29, opening Blue Dream Salon was my way of sharing holistic health and wellness. My struggle with R.A. has raised my awareness of how interconnected the mind, body, and soul are with our self-care routines and rituals. 

We’ve been impressed with Style & Soul, LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Cole (my husband) and I founded Style & Soul, LLC together in 2019 and first opened Blue Dream Salon in Midtown Nashville in January of 2020. In 2021, we launched our first product line, Dreamss Supplements. Inspire Style Soul is our creative lifestyle co. focused on design, branding, marketing, and salon startup consulting.
