Our journey began with TK Queen & Shears, a brick-and-mortar salon built on passion, creativity, and service. It was more than just a beauty business — it was a safe haven where clients came not only for transformation on the outside, but also confidence and encouragement on the inside.
Over time, we began to see how the beauty industry was changing. Clients were busier, lifestyles were shifting, and convenience was becoming essential. The traditional salon setting started to feel limiting — and that’s when the idea sparked to take our services beyond four walls.
The transition wasn’t easy. Converting from a stationary salon to a fully equipped mobile luxury experience came with countless challenges — from understanding regulations, designing a salon on wheels, and handling the logistics of travel, to rebuilding brand identity and awareness from the ground up. But every obstacle became part of our growth.
Through faith, persistence, and vision, what once was TK Queen & Shears has evolved into a new era — a mobile salon movement redefining beauty access and experience. We turned challenges into opportunities, creating a model that brings glamor, comfort, and self-care directly to our clients’ doorsteps.
This rebrand represents more than a name change — it’s the birth of a mission:
to empower others through innovation, mobility, and purpose while continuing to elevate the standard of luxury beauty.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Our journey hasn’t been easy — in fact, it’s been a story of complete transformation. When we first opened TK Queen & Shears, it was a thriving brick-and-mortar salon filled with dreams, loyal clients, and community energy. But as time passed, life shifted. Between personal challenges, changing markets, and new responsibilities, we faced tough decisions that led us to close our doors and start over from scratch.
That moment was painful, but it also became the turning point. Instead of letting the setback define us, we chose to rebuild — smarter, stronger, and more aligned with the future. We realized that beauty, business, and empowerment could travel beyond one location. That vision gave birth to a new direction: a company designed for mobility, innovation, and legacy.
From that rebirth, we built an entire brand family:

• Curated X Collection, a lifestyle brand merging fashion and empowerment;

The road was filled with challenges — from funding and rebranding to balancing motherhood, grief, and faith through each stage. But every obstacle taught us resilience and purpose. What began as loss became a foundation for legacy.

I’m a firm believer that success starts with mindset and discipline, not just opportunity. Over the years, I’ve turned to a variety of resources that keep me grounded, motivated, and focused on growth — both personally and professionally.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is the difference between a millionaire mindset and a middle-class mindset. The middle class often focuses on working for money, while millionaires focus on making money work for them — through ownership, strategy, and structure. That shift in thinking changed everything for me.
