Hidden Gems: Meet Tanya Key Adams of Benchmark Realty

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tanya Key Adams.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started my real estate career in 2010 just as we were starting to come out of the recession. I have always loved looking at homes and envisioning what they could be transformed into. There is always a story and something charming about each one.

Having lived in Nashville most of my life it has been exciting to see our great city grow into what it all has to offer today.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Definitely some challenges over the years. Most recently, low inventory combined with an influx of buyers have made it difficult at times to get buyers under contract. Guiding my clients through the home buying process is very rewarding though and I love the career path I have chose.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Benchmark Realty?
I have been a Nashville area resident for over 30 years- my knowledge and 12 years of real estate experience set me apart for other agents. I provide exceptional real estate services for both buyers and sellers and thoroughly enjoy meeting and working will all people and most of all helping them accomplish their homeownership goals.

Specialize as a buyer’s agent, listing agent, investors, and relocation.

I like to always have something fun planned around they city so rather if it’s attending Titans and Predator games or trying out a new local restaurant or spending time at the lake. I always “work hard, play hard”

I also enjoy having worked with some area nonprofit organizations: Franktown Open Hearts, Hope Clinic for Women, and Habitat for Humanity. Another one I would like to add this year is to help out at a local animal shelter or work with rescue horses.

I recently sponsored the Williamson Co high school football player of the week which was announced weekly on 104.5 The Zone.

We love surprises, fun facts, and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
I’m a former ballerina and danced en pointe. When I tell most people that know me this, they literally LOL but yes, I was graceful at one time. 🙂

I love to cook. For me, it’s relaxing and takes my mind off things.
