Hi Tasha, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Sure! I started out in real estate investing 8 years ago when I realized the corporate grind just wasn’t for me! I wass working in HR at a retail store to get my resume built up to eventually become HR business partner and hoped to climb up to a CEO level position one day. That quickly changd when my boss identified a bigger need in the store for a guest experience executive, completely derailing my plans. I was working for a salary and 60-70 hours a week. I was so stressed out and not even on the career path I waned for myself. I worked this job for 6 months, decided to work for myself, read The Book on Flipping Houses by J Scott, got 3 part time flexible jobs, and flipped my first house! It snow balled from there and I never looked back.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Many beginners underestimate the learning curve involved. Understanding market trends, legal frameworks, financing options, and property evaluation requires dedication and seeking guidance from experienced professionals. It’s tempting to jump in headfirst, but taking the time to build a solid foundation is crucial for long-term success.
