Hidden Gems: Meet Thomas Parsons of Thomas Parsons PMAFA,CAP Astrologer

Today we’d like to introduce you to Thomas Parsons. 

Hi Thomas, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
After I got out of the Navy, I entered college to further educated myself as most of us do. In my sophomore year, I was required to take psychology as well as philosophy. I just happened to be reading an article by Carl Jung in which he talked about Sun and Moon cycles and how they made impressions upon humanity. Somehow this triggered the couple of billion neurons in my brain to inquired more about something to me that was totally outside the lines of standard religion let alone psychology. Planets can have an effect upon a person but then I realized the Moon causes tides as well as our Sun can cause the lights to out. That seemed logical. I began to read books on the subject of astrology and developed a hunger and thirst to learn more. This lead me to become a vegetarian, taking yoga classes 4 nights a week and learning more about the esoteric streams of Christianity, it started with the Max Heindel, then onto Rudolf Steiner, Madam Blavatsky, Annie Besant, and Corinne Heline. The more I read and studied the more I began to drift away from the linear matrix of life and pursue the nonlinear which seem to resonate with me as a path of higher truths. I found an astrologer that was teaching and studied with him for 2 years. Then it was 2 more teachers that even today play a major role in the evolution of astrology as well as people they continue to serve. My 3rd dimension world began to erode and I became more embodied with the reality of self-realization. My days of yawning were coming to a conclusion as I began to become subservient to the needs of my spirit. I can look back now and realize I had a calling. I then began to do readings for some friends to begin with because it was not only safe for me but I received legitimate feedback. I then went on to do psychic fairs to further develop myself as an astrologer. I even taught astrology at a local college for 7 years. I am now Professional Accredited and certified through the AFA and ISAR and the only astrologer in the state of TN. with these credentials. I serve clients all over the world. As I tell my clients when you are born and take your first breath you create your biography as the planets, certain fixed stars and of course, Karma plant their seeds for you to fertilize. My job is to act as a catalyst in helping you understand the stages of growth in your evolution whether they come through opportunities or challenges. After all, life is a roller coaster. I specialized in telling people about their future within areas of their life that deal with health, career, relationships, finances, when to make a major move or when to start a family and etc. I do my best to convey the significance of the planets as well as the Sun and Moon in their cyclic rotations that deals with the soul’s evolution working through the human entity. 

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
In the beginning, it was a struggle only because I had a regular job of 9 to 5 and at least 3 nights a week I traveled more than an hour to take a 2-hour class on astrology. Thank goodness I was in my twenties. I wanted to be the astrologer yesterday not years in the future. Plus, it wasn’t like you could just talk to anyone about astrology without them rolling their eyes. Now of course I have become a full-time astrologer and have many friends that are not only into astrology but other spiritual arts in which we get together for in-depth conversations at least once a month. 

As you know, we’re big fans of Thomas Parsons PMAFA, CAP Astrologer. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I do readings or consultations for clients all over the world that are usually about 2 1/2 hours either in my office or through Zoom. I let them know of the changes that are coming up in their life so that they can be less fearful about what could be dramatic changes as well as let them know when their strengths are going to be tested. This way they become empowered through better understanding of the opportunities to expand their aspirations so they then create their own matrix in life or lessen the tension that comes from the frustrations in being human. I also lecture, teach all phases of astrology, and every once in a while, appear on TV, radio, or a magazine. Also, I let people know when is an appropriate time to get pregnant or married. 

Any big plans?
I just plan on continuing as a practicing astrologer, teaching and writing articles to further educate those that are searching for higher truths.
