Hidden Gems: Meet Ursula Duffy of Sea Goddess Healing Arts

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ursula Duffy.

Hi Ursula, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My personal healing journey has been mostly independent until I started connecting with local, like-minded women in 2019. It was through events and Moon circles at a local studio, that I began to meet my local tribe, including my business partner, Soul Sister, and co-founder of Sea Goddess Healing Arts, Mandee Elam. We have each been called back to the South Jersey area and to each other. My life’s roots are in Atlantic City, my heart is there, and I am so honored to give back to the community through my own Light and through the Sea Goddess Healing Arts collaboration and collective. We consider ourselves Lighthouses for the Soul, spread across the US in New Jersey, Vermont, and California, and have a growing website and online space to extend our reach beyond our physical locations. Sea Goddess Healing Arts honors the divine feminine as she rises up from within us all. It has been many Moons, many ceremonies, and many intentions. We are now collaborating with a beautiful collective of healers and artisans, working together to lay the foundation for a New Earth and resurrect the original vision for Atlantic City as a health resort and healing destination for South Jersey and for the World.

I am a Professional Astrologer, Certified Aromatherapist, and Cosmic Guide. With my brand Ursa Alchemy, I blend intuitive and healing arts to support the Soul. I answered the calling from the Universe over 10 years ago.

Throughout that journey, I learned how to develop my intuition and communicate with spirit while learning the healing arts of Astrology and Aromatherapy. I assist and support my clients during their own personal transformation by guiding them to open their minds and hearts to the language of the plants, planets, and spirits, and to Live in Touch with Their Souls. Ursa Alchemy operates under the umbrella of the Sea Goddess Healing Arts Collective.

​For over 15 years, I worked as a certified professional Geospatial Scientist mapping for the local and federal government. I have been a team leader in every position specializing in organizing, teaching, training, and managing projects. As an Astrologer, I am shifting into my true calling to create and retrieve cosmic maps to help people navigate and discover their Soul’s journey. I am available for Astrology readings and Aromatherapy/Astrological Aromatherapy consults, and recently launched my own podcast: Becoming Chiron – The Key to Unlocking Healing and Personal Alchemy. I also created the signature aromatherapy blend for Sea Goddess Healing Arts, available in an Energy Cleansing Spray and Roll-on perfume.

I was born in Atlantic City and grew up in Margate, New Jersey. My Dad grew up in Atlantic City, my parents met on the Atlantic City beach when they were kids. I’ve witnessed and experienced Atlantic City through all phases of my life, to finally now return as a member of the healing arts community. My husband and I recently moved back to the island in early December of 2020, and I’m honored to finally be an Atlantic City resident.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The beginning of my Spiritual Reawakening in 2015 was the most blissful part of this journey. It has been a very long, winding, and challenging path of personal re-discovery, Soul searching, learning, and fully becoming who I truly am. I hid my intuition and connection to Spirit most of my life.

Showing up in the World as my true self, and then undoing almost everything in order to be myself has been both rewarding and extremely challenging. After many years of study, planning, and preparation, I left my Corporate job of over 11 years in mid-August 2021, and am now solely an entrepreneur, Astrologer, and Aromatherapist.

We are a collective of heart-led healing artists, creative artisans, musicians, and New Earth visionaries here to shine our light in the world and be of service to humanity through intuitive gifts and healing modalities.

Sea Goddess Healing Arts is based in Atlantic City, NJ with a network of healing artists throughout the World.

We are a collective and our approach is to honor each team member’s modality and light as well as the synergy and power in collaboration and working as a team of healing artists. We feel the collective, team approach sets us apart, especially as a group of women working together and supporting each other. This is a sisterhood, as well as a business.

We offer a variety of services and offerings including a multitude of Readings, Ascension Guidance, Astrology, Aromatherapy, Reiki, Energy Healing and Cleansing, Teaching, Support, Guidance, Massage Therapy, and many collaborative services which are in development.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
I had a very traditional route in life, went to college, and in my profession as a Geospatial Analyst I had various corporate jobs, including most recently as a contractor for the Federal Government, up until last year!
