Hi Valentino, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Well, I moved in Nashville Tennessee from Syracuse, New York with a plan of owning my own business, but I didn’t know how and where to start, it took me a year to learn and get used to feeling comfortable in an environment. But I wanted to be so useful to my Community.

I started selling my Products from Home to build a name for my business to the Customers, then I built a website so we started selling online (www.fizilandmarket.com).

When I traveled back to Africa I got inspired, by seeing young small business owners trying their best to survive, when I come back to the USA, I realize I can own my own store and nothing can stop me. So I quit my full-time job to save myself enough time to relax my mind and set myself up to start my own business and a week later an opened my shop

I got where I am at for not giving up on my plans, and believing in me. Staying focused on what I wanted to achieve and always worked hard to be successful.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
it is never a smooth road because for the first 3-6 months it was like an introduction to the customers and a community where I set my business at. Plus I started my business right after the country was getting back to normal after COVID 19. So it was a little bit hard on getting customers, also my target customers was not my actual clients so I had to Learn new Tricks and new customers’ needs.
