

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexandra Gerritsen. Them and their team share their story with us below:
Ali and Brittany started AnT Services in 2022 with a mission to simply make life easy. AnT Services has three pillars to the business – property services; virtual consulting services with a focus on employing women all over the world; and leadership training and development for women who aspire to take their careers to the next level.
Ali an Brittany met in 2019 when Ali started as the President and COO of Artemis Institute for Clinical Research in San Diego and Brittany was her VP of Operations. Artemis was a company comprised of 95% women, many of which did not have college educations or technical degrees of any kind. During their tenure, they had the opportunity to promote over 15 women to middle management positions and performed career development, coaching, and mentorship to every employee in the company. The results were decreased turnover during the “Great Resignation” when there was a traditionally extremely high turnover rate at the company. Additionally, they took Artemis to the highest revenue and EBITDA numbers ever in 2021 due to the investment and focus they put on their team. They truly believe that people are any company’s best asset. Through leveraging training and development they realized that they had not only made their team’s jobs easier, it was also esasier to run the day-to-day business. Through simplification, they expanded and grew the company to achieve its most successful year ever since its inception in 2008. It was then they realized that they could package up this success and help other companies achieve the same results across any industry.
During a trip to Nashville in 2022 Brittany and Ali had a terrible AirBnB experience which left them stranded after landing in the city with no place to stay less than 30 minutes prior to check-in. They never wanted someone else to go through what they went through and it was on that trip that they decided to invest in an AirBnB with the focus in making traveling as easy as possible. They offer shopping services, decorating services, parking downtown, and other perks that make a unique and specialized experience for their guests. Within three months, Ali and Brittany were superhosts with a 4.83 rating.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
For AnT Services the road has actually been pretty smooth, we are currently in growth mode and looking to expand with additional AirBnB’s in Nashville in 2023 and expand our consulting services in other industries outside of clinical research.
In general, both Ali and Brittany have learned tremendously from the mistakes they have made in their own careers. They believe in continuous improvement and continuous learning and it is through that mindset that they are able to be more successful today in their own business.

We have a two-bedroom and two-bathroom centrally located unit in The Burnham in downtown Nashville. We are on the ground floor, pool level, and have a parking space as well as provide shopping services and decorating services for our guests. Our unit is decorated with LED lights, a 60-inch flat-screen, and is the ultimate party space.
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
One of their favorite mottos is “If you don’t ask the answer is always ‘No'”. As women in business, many times we don’t advocate for ourselves the way we need to. They want people to know that you have to take a chance and a risk to get what you want.
The other piece of advice they have is to not be afraid to go against the grain and challenge the status quo. At Artemis in particular, they took a leap of faith and incurred a large cost to develop, train, and mentor the team and put their employees first – which is atypical in a project-based environment. When COVID hit, this mindset and focus on their people brought the team together – collaboration, communication, and morale improved when the world was experiencing the exact opposite. Without challenging the founders of the business on their traditional approach, Artemis may not have made it through the pandemic.
