Hi Deric, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started off work for Terminix pest control ,as a termite tech, climbing under houses doing moisture, vapors, and doing termite work underneath the house I work my way up to commercial to where I was only doing commercial establishments worked there for about 15 years during that time I was able to learn the inside and outside of pest control Then one day I was working in a lightbulb, went off in my head and I said that I can do this on my own. It wasn’t easy but I stayed with it and now I own Tennessee Bed Bug Eliminators, we provide heat for bedbugs that kills all stages of Bedbugs with minimum prep work with a price that won’t cost you an arm and a leg with a discreet service so your neighbors won’t know why we are there
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Some of the struggles along the way I think most people are not used to seeing a Afro-American that owns a heat treating company, but most of my journey has been OK

I would like to thank my parents because without their structure and teaching, while I was young, told me to stick with every obstacle and never give up, even though people may not like you because of the color of your skin. You still strive to be the best you can be regardless of the situation.
