Hi Eastern, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
It all started… when I was a lil’ girl looking through wedding magazines for the extremely beautiful extravagant wedding gowns and not the weddings! Fast forward to my freshman year in college, I was approached to do a few photoshoots and that changed everything for me. I started modeling immediately and I was 18 years old. I was also a student/hustling two jobs. I always made time for modeling that was my creating time. I was always working on something and on something that I love to create. For me, If it was fashion, I was game and I always have been.
The best part of modeling is its all types of fashion and I’m amazed by its endless creations of fashions interpretation. On to time from then and in between… I was all in strong for the first eight years even after having a baby in the 3rd year of my career. Nothing could stop me. I bounced back had two jobs was in school, modeling. I was working! After eight years, or so my priorities led me down a different path that wasn’t fulfilling my passion or my purpose in my career. This brings us to! Where I am today… After a few years in and out of the game. I felt the sense to do something for me and I started modeling again, I later starting hosting a show which went through much rebranding to where it is now (Frank E Talks on YouTube), after truly rebranding myself and seeing success. I felt it was time.
So, I started working on building my business. talking to mentors, other women in business, learning from peers in my field, educating myself, and doing the research to create and start my own business; now two years old this October, Eye On you. A brand image consulting company offering services from styling to brand image consulting. It’s my passion to merge my love for authenticity in true humanity and receiving all that unmatched energy from their true light. Merging that with my innate nature for all things fashion.
I speak a different language when it comes to dressing people how they see themselves. I just want to see those two passions come together in purpose. That way we can all shine together. It’s enough pie for us all. I just want to see us all WIN. I thank God for that.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Definitely the monetary deficit. The amount of money you put out can be a little intimidating. In all business, I believe you must be willing to invest in yourself. It really does cost money to make money. Hard pill to swallow, but it’s a part of paying your dues. Another thing that I’ve struggled with is all the losses I had to take in relationships.
You can’t mix some things in certain spaces. I’ve learned to counsel God and my heart, follow where that leads. I’ve now known it’s my purpose for my life! Not everybody is for my purpose! Lessons, not losses were hard lessons to learn.

How do you define success?
Freedom to get back up and try again when you are on the path to your purpose. Freedom to do what you love every day in favor. Learn a lot from the hard lessons with an open mind. You have this big picture. You can’t let the small stuff ever stop you from seeing the big picture. Never give up on what makes you breathe, eat and sleep it’s YOUR dream and it chose you to dream BIG! Success is the FREEDOM TO DREAM BIG!
