Inspiring Conversations with Kenzie Stewart of True Form Fitness: A Lagree Studio

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kenzie Stewart.

Hi Kenzie, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.

True Form Fitness, of which was previously known + operated under the DBA Studio Novo Franklin, was established in October of 2022, by a young female entrepreneur and dreamer, with a vision to impact our community through fitness.

The heart behind True Form evolved from a place of wanting more for individuals aspiring to grow stronger physically and mentally, and desiring more for the space of Unit B103, which had housed & powered the Lagree method of fitness for nearly a decade. So, with big dreams in mind, plans were made. In talking through what Lagree IS, and what this space means, True Form Fitness: A Lagree Studio was created + the mission “beTrue.beFormed” became housed within these walls.

We have been in biz as True Form for about 6 months now. The past 6 months have been wild, in the sweetest way! Walking into ownership in April of 2022, I had a dream and vision for what this fitness studio could become – but I had no clue it could skim the surface of what it is today.

While we started small, we are growing quickly – welcoming new faces every day! We are bleeding out of our 4 walls with a mission-minded community, incredibly skilled and trained instructors, and a fitness method that is taking over the industry!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There have been various obstacles, whether that be technical difficulties, general studio struggles, or long training experiences — but overall, it’s hard to not have smooth sailing when you have the people that make up this space. Day in and day out they show up not just for a great workout, but for themselves + this community.

The people. The people have become the smooth road we ride on. Making every speed bump or roadside obstacle, nothing but a thing to pass through.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Since the last time we spoke, I would say something we have matured + grown in as a studio, is our incredible trainers + training process.

We have hosted four Lagree Trainings at our studio over the past year, something hard to come by at Lagree Fitness studios. We bring in the best of the best, to guide our trainees in the bones of this fitness method, creating the highest standards I have seen to date. Our trainers at True Form are skilled in instruction, but also in their innovation + creativity, aspects of fitness that are often disregarded. We want our clients to walk into our doors every single day being pushed and challenged beyond what they believe their limits are, especially our regulars.

Stagnation is not a thing at TFF, and I have seen that become a true reality over the past several months since emphasizing further training for our trainees. Our trainers at True Form are incredible. They beat the heart of this space + will continue to rock the Lagree world in every way possible!

Interested in becoming a Lagree Fitness trainer? We are hosting our next Level 1 Training on August 11-13… a weekend you do NOT want to miss.

Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
Be on the lookout for a lot of FUN things in the TFF world. This is just the beginning, friends!
