Today we’d like to introduce you to Lil Timme 57Recordz LLC.
Hi Lil Timme, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started my journey in music as a way to express real life experiences, pressure, growth, struggle, and ambition. Coming out of Nashville, I always felt like there were a lot of talented artists in the city that just needed a real platform and real opportunity.
Over time, that passion grew into more than just making records. It became about building culture, creating opportunities, and showing people that independent artists can create major movements without waiting on permission.
As an artist, I’ve continued to build my catalog through projects like the Pressure series, while also growing 57Recordz into a platform that supports music, live events, branding, and community connection. Along the way, I’ve had the opportunity to work with respected artists, perform in different markets, and build relationships that helped expand the vision even further.
That journey is what led to the creation of the 615MuzikFestival. The festival was built to spotlight Nashville’s rising talent while also connecting regional and national artists under one roof.
We wanted to create something that feels authentic to the city but still has a nationwide energy. It’s bigger than a concert to us — it’s a statement that Nashville has a real music culture that deserves to be seen on a larger scale.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. Building anything independently comes with challenges, especially in music and live entertainment. One of the biggest struggles has been creating opportunities without always having the infrastructure or support that major companies already have in place. A lot of times you have to build while you’re learning, wear multiple hats, and keep pushing even when things don’t go exactly how you planned.
There were moments where funding, logistics, scheduling, or even getting people to believe in the vision became obstacles. Putting together a large-scale event like the 615MuzikFestival takes a tremendous amount of coordination between artists, venues, marketing, production, and community support. As an independent brand, you don’t have the luxury of unlimited resources, so consistency, relationships, and belief in the mission become everything.
At the same time, those struggles helped shape the movement. They taught us how to adapt, how to stay grounded, and how to create something authentic instead of chasing trends. Every setback became part of the foundation. The goal was never to make something temporary — it was to build something that could truly impact the culture and open doors for artists coming from the city and surrounding regions.
As you know, we’re big fans of 615MuzikFestival. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
57Recordz is an independent entertainment company and cultural platform founded by Nashville recording artist Lil Timme. What started as a music brand has grown into a movement focused on artist development, live events, media, community engagement, and creating opportunities for independent talent. At the center of that movement is authenticity. Everything we build is rooted in real experiences, real people, and real culture.
One thing that separates us is that we don’t just focus on one style or one lane of music. The 615MuzikFestival was intentionally created as a genreless and culture-driven experience that brings together different sounds, fan bases, and artists under one roof. The goal is to showcase the diversity of talent coming out of Nashville and surrounding regions while also creating opportunities for artists to perform on a major platform.
This year’s 615MuzikFestival will take place June 13th at the historic Exit/In in Nashville, Tennessee. Exit/In is one of the city’s most respected and legendary venues, known for hosting iconic artists and helping shape Nashville’s live music culture for decades. Being able to bring this vision into a venue with that kind of history is something we take seriously.
The festival lineup reflects the different layers of independent culture and regional talent. 2’Live Bre will headline the festival, continuing to bring national attention to Nashville’s evolving music scene through a sound and presence that has connected with audiences across multiple markets.
Bad Business Jr. serves as the Regional Headliner, representing the strength of artists emerging from surrounding cities and helping bridge regional movements together through music and culture.
The festival will also spotlight rising artists through its Nashville Next Up and Artist Showcase divisions. Emerging talents like TEN Smith and Broadway Tre represent the next generation of artists making noise in the city, while Cashville Licia headlines the Artist Showcase division — a platform specifically designed to give developing artists real visibility, real performance opportunities, and direct exposure to new audiences.
Beyond the performances, the festival is designed to feel like a full cultural experience. It brings together music, networking, media coverage, vendors, DJs, interviews, and community interaction all in one environment. We want artists to feel seen, respected, and valued while also giving fans an opportunity to discover what’s next before the rest of the industry catches up.
Brand wise, one of the things we’re most proud of is building something independently that people genuinely believe in. We’ve created opportunities, built relationships, and continued expanding the platform without compromising the vision. Readers should know that 57Recordz and the 615MuzikFestival are not just events or brands — they represent a larger movement focused on elevating independent culture, creating access, and proving that Nashville has a powerful and evolving music scene that deserves national attention.
Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
What we love most about Nashville is the creativity and the energy of the people. The city has a unique culture where music, entrepreneurship, and community all intersect. There’s talent everywhere — not just in country music, but in hip hop, R&B, rock, soul, jazz, and creative arts across the board. Nashville has a spirit where people are constantly building, collaborating, and chasing purpose, and that creates an environment where movements can really grow.
Another thing that stands out is how much history the city carries. Venues like Exit/In represent decades of culture and live performance. Being able to contribute to that history while also helping shape the next generation of artists is something we take pride in.
At the same time, one of the challenges Nashville faces is recognition for the full diversity of its music scene. Sometimes incredible artists and creatives can go overlooked because the city is still heavily associated with one genre publicly, even though there’s so much more happening underneath the surface. There are independent artists here building at a very high level who deserve more visibility, support, and infrastructure.
That’s part of the reason the 615MuzikFestival exists. We want to help create more opportunities, more collaboration, and more awareness around the talent that already exists here. Nashville has all the ingredients to be one of the most influential music cities in the country across multiple genres — and we believe the world is starting to catch on to that.
