Inspiring Conversations with Lisa Culp Taylor of LCT Team – Parks

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lisa Culp Taylor.

Hi Lisa, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Being a second-generation Realtor and Middle Tennessee native, I have a deep respect and appreciation for our community. I grew up going to open houses with my dad and scouring the MLS book – yes, it used to be a print edition!

By the time I was in high school, I knew exactly what I wanted to do, and, quite honestly, I didn’t want to waste time and money going to college. Starting on the ground floor, I very intentionally worked in every related real estate industry job to gain a deeper understanding of the process.

Now, after decades of experience as a Realtor, I’m proud to have founded and lead a top Parks Realty team, honored to be consistently listed as a top Nashville area Realtor for multiple media outlets, including Nashville Lifestyles magazine, and most recently our team was named 2021 Best Real Estate Team for Williamson Home Page!

I’m passionate about mentoring, coaching, and supporting my team, being a resource for my industry colleagues while successfully helping my clients navigate the home buying and selling process through a specialized marketing formula and the LCT network which is backed by a history of hundreds of successful transactions. I’ve also been very curious about the building process learning as much about it as possible.

This has served me and my clients well as I help in the purchase of existing homes and new construction. I also have the privilege of working with almost a dozen builders helping consult on home design, floor plans, and prioritizing the needs of current home buyers which has really shifted in this past year.

Today, I live with my family in the Franklin area which includes several rescue animals, a passion of mine as well, and, a portion of my commissions are donated to Snooty Giggles or the Make A Wish Foundation.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
As a young person straight out of high school, I knew I wanted to be a Realtor but found it very difficult to overcome my age and lack of experience. Yes, I put on the power suit but I also put in the time to learn my craft and every step of the home buying and selling process. This preparation definitely helped equip me for success.

Today, the obstacles in our industry are something impacting us all – a lack of available homes. One of the ways I am working to help my clients and my team is taking a grassroots approach to identifying potential homes available with previous clients, cultivating and continuing to grow industry contacts, and expanding the home builders I am privileged to consult with and work.

It is helping to identify new home opportunities and connect our eager clients!

As you know, we’re big fans of the LCT Team – Parks. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
As Middle Tennessee Realtors, the LCT Team – Parks specialize in residential real estate, land sales, and working with top area home builders in the developing and marketing of new homes. The team was founded in 2017 and today is Parks’ top producing team with an established reputation for being hard-working, professional, ethical, supportive of our industry, and unwavering advocates for each of our clients.

We like to describe our process as creating a synergy of success by implementing a proven marketing strategy while utilizing a vibrant and talented network of industry resources. Ultimately, helping clients start a new chapter by preparing to sell or buying a beautiful new home is our greatest reward.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
My biggest mentors and supporters have been my parents who I am blessed to be guided by today as well as my family. My company founder, Bob Parks, as well as broker, Danny Anderson, have each played a huge role in my growth and success and I am very indebted to each.

As we near the end of the second year of an incredibly challenging time for our country, my teammates and industry colleagues have also become so important to the success of the LCT Team – Parks. I am so grateful for each of them.

Ultimately, Middle Tennessee has experienced unprecedented times with an influx of new home buyers and people within the community moving to new homes too. I’ve been prepared for this by the people who have walked before me, helped me rise to my level of success today and have inspired me, and have kept my passion for real estate burning even brighter!
