Today we’d like to introduce you to Marguerite Insolia.
Hi Marguerite, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
My spiritual work and my life are entirely intertwined. A lot of the offerings I share, tarot, channeling, energy healing, etc, have become trendy, and as a result, new teachers are teaching new students these modalities. I’m grateful for the awakening unfolding and in actuality, the “remembering” of these gifts for many people who would have otherwise never had the space to give life to these intrinsic parts of their being.
That being said, it’s difficult to find the beginning of my story in this work because the language of the unseen has just always been present in my life. As a child, I was constantly in communication with the other side; so much so that when I learned other people and kids weren’t also hearing guiding voices in their heads, talking to beings in their room at night, and telecommunicating, I was in full shock. Thankfully, my mother never doubted what I saw and heard and my father, who grew up in Sicily, was also a believer. This kept my connection to the unseen tethered throughout childhood, which is often when it dissolves for most people.
While my clairaudience, the ability to hear the truth clearly, and my clairvoyance, to see the truth, have always been online, I began consciously studying the art of divination through Tarot in my early teens in Sicily. Tarot was born in Italy during the dark ages and the gift of reading cards has been passed down through my patriarchal lineage for centuries. I began modeling as an older teen, which brought me from Boston to NYC where I enrolled at NYU.
The mother of my freshman-year roommate was an energy worker, and she sparked my interest in Reiki. After college, I began my training as a Usui Reiki practitioner and started taking on clients. Just like with establishing a meditation practice, the more one opens to subtle energies, the stronger the flow of alignment becomes. I moved from New York City to LA, and while working as an actor, I opened my private Reiki and divination practice in Beachwood Canyon. Soon thereafter, I devoted myself to training in the Akashic Records and offering live events all over Los Angeles.
It’s now been a decade since I first opened my private practice. I’ve been blessed in working with incredible clients of all paths in life; mothers, celebrities, politicians, doctors, scientists, designers, and authors. The list goes on. I truly believe that no matter the session type, I get as much healing and insight as my client does. To do the work, I have to keep myself in a clean energetic space and that discipline alone is gift enough. It’s a beautiful symbiosis.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
When your work is to be of service to others and to step aside and simply be a channel of God’s truth within each person, it kind of all just flows FOR you. I believe that. If anything, I think I’ve put more energy into slowing down the growth of my business than pushing it forward, as silly as that sounds.
I will say that having two young children and finding the balance of being a devoted & present mother, and figuring out how and when I can hold space for clients has been an interesting journey these last 3 years. Motherhood is such a teacher in boundaries and prioritizing your truth. It’s been beautiful to weave those lessons into my practice and it’s actually where my rebranding from Ure Igne to Casa Della Madre came from in 2020. “Ure Igne” is a Latin incantation asking to be burned with the truth of the Holy Spirit.
I love it and it still vibrates true, but it’s very much connected to a patriarchal lens of divinity, and with motherhood came the ignition of God as Mother. “Casa Della Madre” means “Home of The Mother” in Italian, and that Mother is yes, the mother in us all, the Goddess, Nature, and all the spiral paths of Priestess. My work as an oracle and channel was majorly up-leveled through the fiery initiation of motherhood. I now have a very healthy balance of the feminine and masculine, both within myself and also in my understanding of God/Goddess/Source. It’s of course, a never-ending path to more and more understanding.
As you know, we’re big fans of Casa Della Madre. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Casa Della Madre offers individual sessions gifting clients clarity through traditional Italian Tarot, Akashic Record readings, and dowsing. We also offer energetic and physical healing in the form of Reiki and Energetic Harmonization sessions where the auric field and body share insight into why physical, emotional, or mental symptoms are being experienced and how the client can come back safely into balance and ease.
As a practitioner, I offer mentorship programs supporting individuals in remembering their divine gifts, stepping more fully into their expansive self worth + embodiment, calling in divine partnership, and walking the path of sovereign motherhood. CDM also offers courses, digital downloads, and supportive individual and community memberships. All sessions are remote and can be held in the comfort of your own home or office.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
So much expansion is on the way! My family and I recently moved from Los Angeles to Nashville, and we’re loving it here! I’m excited to begin offering in-person events around town.
I’m also now in the creation of a product line, as well as new courses, and some supportive audio downloads for those wishing to explore the unlocking of their inner knowing on their timeline.
