Inspiring Conversations with Tim Stout Group at True North Real Estate

Today we’d like to introduce you to Matt McCrory. 

Hi Matt, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Hello there, My name is Matt McCrory. I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. I went to school at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois and met my wife there. We ended up moving to Northeast Tennessee and found ourselves in the real estate business. We met Tim Stout through a mutual friend and decided to work together, thus the Tim Stout Group was born! The Tim Stout Group is a high-producing real estate team that started in June 2018 as a sister team of Tim Stout and Associates (located near Atlanta). Our CEO & Coach, Tim Stout, is a successful businessman of several businesses, author, speaker, and is in the top 1% of Real Estate Agents nationwide.

Since June of 2018-2020, our combined teams have sold over 1,000 homes. Our teams are trained with the highest level of coaching – both from Tim directly and from his coach, David Keesee – and exercise the highest level of customer service to all customers and business partners.

The focus of our business is to truly help people, give back to the community, and impact others’ lives from their positive interactions with us during a stressful time in their life. This vision sets our team apart from the rest so that we can function with a mindset that echoes, “Who you work with matters!”

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Oftentimes people assume that real estate agents are simply that, “real estate agents.” But what they may not realize is that we are also objection handlers, problem solvers, counselors, moral support during a very high-stress season of life, negotiators, and more.

Our team has faced many challenges throughout transactions that have sculpted us with the experience and knowledge necessary to guide our clients through a transaction with the communication they need to properly set their expectations for situations that may arise.

We have also formed our policies, systems & procedures around any objection we have come across so that our clients are most protected and that the process is streamlined so that no one is caught off guard.

Our CEO Tim has actually written a book called, “Forged in Fire,” and it presents 50 tactics to help a small business succeed. In his book, he teaches that if a roadblock comes along throughout the journey, we should never retreat but we should always find a way around the roadblock to continue towards the goal. Our team uses this philosophy throughout our transactions so that we can provide the best problem-solving skills and white-glove service to our clients every step of the way.

Every month our team and brokerage host a community outreach event to provide resources, food, or monetary support to a different local ministry or hero (like our police, firefighters, etc.).

We take pride in serving those who serve us in our community. We also invite local businesses to participate with our monthly efforts to support our local community, so we are thankful to be building a bigger network of those who serve and love our local community while we also welcome our clients into this community.

What makes you happy?
Happy clients make us happy! If a client decides that the home, they are purchasing is not the right home for them, we work hard to make sure they are satisfied with terminating a transaction and finding another home that is right for them. Our clients come first!

Closing day always makes me happy as well – since we are provided with the opportunity to celebrate the end of an exciting journey with our happy client!
