Nash Party Co., we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Party planning and decorating have always been a large passion of mine and something that has always been a part of my profession. After about a year of living in Nashville, Nash Party Co. came to be. I was working at Belmont Village Senior Living as the Activity Program Coordinator, putting on lots of large events and parties with balloon garlands and matching decor for the residents.
Then I would go home to my apartment in 5 Points and see the same balloon garlands and decor in building windows across the street for bachelorette parties. I thought maybe I could make something of this. So, I decided to do a post on the Nashville Girls Facebook Group to see if anyone would let me do the decor for an upcoming party they were having. All they would have to do is pay for the decor, but there would be no charge for the labor. Someone responded and let me do their daughter’s birthday party. She gave me a budget and a theme, and I went from there, making a vision board and then bringing it to life the day of the party.
She was so kind and encouraging and gave me advice for the future. The feeling I got from the whole experience made me realize I wanted to keep doing it. That night, I was out with my husband and some friends and told them about the party and how I was thinking about starting an event decorating business. I can vividly remember being in the Uber with them after dinner, going through different name ideas, and writing them in my notes app.
The next day, Nash Party Co began… at least the Instagram, Gmail account, and logo did. It was about four months later that I got my first actual booking, and since then, things have been growing slowly but surely. We have done a wide range of parties and events all around town and are so excited to see what the future holds!
Alright, let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
Even though we haven’t been in business for a very long time, we’ve had a few challenges. There is not really a “we” to Nash Party Co, just an I, it is a one-person team of just myself, and I still work a full-time job, so it can sometimes be a little overwhelming to juggle both while trying to grow and meet goals.
A larger challenge happened this past September when my car was stolen, and that, of course, made things a lot more difficult since that is how I get to all my party setups. I had to take a break from taking any new bookings while I worked on getting a new vehicle, which was an unexpected setback.

Nash Party Co is all about the party. Whether you need decorations, planning, or coordination, we have got you covered. We take your party ideas, put them into a custom vision board, and bring it to life. Nash Party Co is owned and operated by one person, so when you are booking and planning, you are talking to the same person that will be there the day of your event.
This ensures your vision is executed flawlessly and sets us apart from other companies. We love to go big and extravagant, but we also know that parties can get expensive, which is why we love working with all party sizes and all ranges of budgets, so no matter what, your event can still be special!
We do a lot of bachelorettes and birthdays for visitors but we also love doing events for our Nashville locals! We have lots of backdrop rentals perfect for bridal and baby showers. We love curating tablescapes for parties in your home, and we’re ready to design anything else that you can dream up!
What do you think about happiness?
One of the best parts about starting a company is getting to meet so many amazing entrepreneurs! It is something I didn’t even think about when starting Nash Party Co but it’s ended up being one of my favorite parts. I have found so much joy in doing local Nashville events with other small businesses, especially events that I’ve been able to donate my services and time to to benefit a local business or nonprofit.
I really find happiness and fulfillment in giving back in my personal life, so I try to carry that through to my business. Through these events, I’ve had opportunities to meet many amazing business owners and promote important causes. Being able to give back to the community that gives to me is what brings me the most joy.
