Inspiring Conversations with Otis Carter of 4Ward Entertainment

Today we’d like to introduce you to Otis Carter. Them and their team share their story with us below:

When concert promoter Otis Carter IV & artist manager Leo Sweat linked to make the 4ward Entertainment brand in 2015, they shortly thereafter sought out content creator Chris Rhone & Graphics designer Carl Burrell to create the team known collectively as 4Ward Entertainment Group LLC.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Simply put, no. Just as in life, everything comes with challenges. Whether it’s 4 individual men working through the expected difference of opinions or simply finalizing a budget, many hurdles come in the entertainment industry.

Meeting deadlines and client expectations are things that are constant challenges when expanding and/or elevating our workload. Our reputation is everything so the challenge of keeping clients and artists satisfied is something we embrace as well.

We’ve been impressed with 4Ward Entertainment LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
4Ward Entertainment Group has been in motion as a unit since 2017. We are event specialists. We curate, promote, and market, events of all genres for our company and for jobs we’ve been contracted for. Another dynamic of our company is brand and artist management. We’ve been fortunate enough to book and /or promote a few respective legends along our journey.

Some of them being, the late great Dick Gregory, Young Dolph, and Roy Lee. Some living legends include Floyd Mayweather, Kevin Hart, Boosie, Big Krit, Bun B, Starlito, Don Trip, Carl Thomas, Scotty Alt (Grillz By Scotty), and many more. Wisecracks Comedy is a subsidiary brand owned by 4Ward Entertainment Group that hosts Comedy Shows in the Southeast US. From big theaters, comedy clubs, bars, and small intimate venues.

We’ve had the opportunity to be consistent in this region and beyond. We’ve been fortunate to work with some great comedians from A-List to unknowns as well as some stellar venue owners. Integrity, professionalism, dependability, and reliability are a few of the attributes that we pride ourselves on. We provide entertainment and services that push the culture forward.

We educate the young artist we work with and we also offer affordable pricing and consultation to small businesses. We proudly leverage the relationships we’ve acquired within the entertainment industry to aid and assist our various communities with an emphasis on the underserved. Of everything mentioned above, integrity is what we hang our hat on and what we’re most proud of.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up.
Since we all grew up in a few different cities and a few separate eras, I would say some common activities, and memories revolved around playing outdoor music videos, and video games.
