Today we’d like to introduce you to Pete Fisher.
Hi Pete, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
As a former trumpet player and audio engineer, I came to Nashville to finish a degree in the music business. I was fortunate that an internship opened the door for my first job at Warner Bros. Records. Essentially, I was a music publisher based at a very successful major record label, exposing me to two important dimensions of the music industry. I then transitioned to artist management, which continued to round out my perspective and experience in the industry. During my entire career, I have always volunteered for entertainment industry trade organizations, serving on numerous boards and committees. Although I was doing these organizations, I found this service also provided a great return to me, broadening my network and directly leading to two organizations. First, my service to The Recording Academy and its charitable foundation MusiCares, both at the local and national levels, connected me with the opportunity to join the Grand Ole Opry, where I served as its General Manager for close to 18 years. Then, following my service to the Academy of Country Music and its foundation, ACM Lifting Lives, the organization named me its CEO. Today, I have a broad perspective on the industry and an extensive network of key relationships. Currently, I serve as an Entertainment Industry Consultant for Valiant Wealth. I manage my daughter-in-law, Jessica Willis Fisher’s, music and literary career. I also have a feature film in development based on the life and love story of Country Music Hall of Fame and Grand Ole Opry star Little Jimmy Dickens and his wife, Mona.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I have been very fortunate to have been blessed with a fantastic career and the opportunity to learn from and work with some of the best in the entertainment industry, both artists and businesspeople. I would have to say the most significant challenges I faced were during my time at the Grand Ole Opry, working with our team to restore its revered place in the country music industry. Growing the Opry into the modern day and working with our team to restore the Opry after the 2010 flood certainly had its challenges. However, it also was gratifying and purposeful for me.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Fisher Entertainment Consulting, Inc?

I leverage my broad experience in the entertainment industry and my extensive entertainment industry and artist relationships to help individuals and organizations accomplish their goals.
