Today we’d like to introduce you to Porsha “the Alln1diva” Hensley
Hi Porsha “The AllN1Diva”, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always believed that my journey was divinely orchestrated, and looking back, I can see how every experience—both beautiful and challenging—brought me to where I am today. I’m a Nashville native, the oldest of six siblings, and a wife and boy mom. Growing up, I carried a lot of responsibility and learned early on how to navigate life with grit and resilience. Despite making straight A’s and B’s, I often felt like my achievements were never enough.
My journey into the beauty and wellness industry started with inspiration from my mother, a well-known nail technician. I loved going to work with her and seeing how she transformed her clients—not just physically but emotionally. However, I didn’t immediately see myself following in her footsteps. As a young girl lacking confidence, I was unsure of what I wanted to be, but God had a plan.
Fast forward to today, I’m the proud owner of Divine Innovations Beauty & Wellness Studio, where I empower women to shine from the inside out. My tagline, “For the Woman Who Does It All,” reflects my deep passion for serving women who, like me, juggle countless roles but often forget to prioritize themselves. Through my work, I’ve combined hairstyling, wellness coaching, and empowering workshops to create a holistic experience that helps women rediscover their beauty, confidence, and balance.
But my story is more than just a career path; it’s a testament to resilience and transformation. From enduring the pain of losing my father at a young age to overcoming postpartum depression after my sons were born, I’ve turned my struggles into stepping stones. My passion lies in building community, creating spaces where women feel seen, heard, and celebrated, and sharing tools that help them thrive.
Today, I’m not only a salon owner but also a group fitness instructor and self-care advocate. Through platforms like Divas on the Glow and workshops like For YOUR Ego, I’m committed to helping women grow, glow, and embrace their unique journeys.
It’s been a long road, but every step has shaped me into the woman I am today—a woman who does it all, not because it’s easy, but because it’s worth it.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My journey has been anything but smooth, but every challenge I’ve faced has been a crucial part of my growth and purpose. One of the most significant struggles I endured was losing my father at the age of eight. That loss shaped how I saw the world and myself. Growing up as the oldest of six siblings, I often felt an overwhelming responsibility to be “enough” for everyone, which left little room for me to truly explore who I was.
Another major obstacle came after becoming a mother. Postpartum depression hit me harder than I ever expected. I was juggling the roles of a wife, mother, and entrepreneur, all while trying to keep it together on the outside. But inside, I felt lost and overwhelmed. Those were some of the darkest moments of my life, but they taught me the importance of prioritizing my own wellness and leaning on God for strength.
Financial struggles were also a reality early in my career. Building Divine Innovations Beauty & Wellness Studio from the ground up wasn’t easy. There were times when I doubted whether I had the resources or the ability to make it work. But my faith kept me grounded, reminding me that God wouldn’t give me a vision without provision. With perseverance and prayer, I’ve been able to overcome those hurdles.
Another challenge has been navigating self-doubt and fear of failure. For a long time, I questioned whether I was truly capable of walking in my purpose. But every time I felt like giving up, God reminded me that I was chosen for this path and that He equips those He calls.
These struggles have shaped me into the woman I am today—resilient, resourceful, and determined to help other women thrive. Every obstacle I’ve faced has deepened my faith, strengthened my character, and taught me the value of leaning into God’s grace.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Divine Innovations Beauty & Wellness Studio ?

Through platforms like Divas on the Glow, we create a community of women who uplift and inspire one another. This space is where women come to connect, grow, and glow while prioritizing self-care, confidence, and faith. My For YOUR Ego workshops, for instance, focus on embracing femininity and building confidence through movement, sensual stretch, and beginner-friendly dance routines.
Since opening our doors in 2014, I’m most proud of the transformations my clients experience—not just in their hair or wellness journeys, but in their mindset. When women leave my studio, they walk out with more than a fresh style; they leave with renewed confidence, energy, and empowerment.
I want your readers to know that Divine Innovations Beauty & Wellness Studio is more than a business—it’s a movement. We are here to serve women who are ready to step into their power, embrace their beauty, and walk boldly in their God-given potential. If you’re ready to experience more than just a service—if you’re ready for a transformation—Divine Innovations is the place for you.
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up, I was the oldest of six siblings, which naturally made me responsible and nurturing from a young age. I was a straight-A student who worked hard in school and always strived to do my best, but deep down, I often felt like my achievements weren’t enough. I carried a lot of responsibility on my shoulders, which shaped me into the resilient, determined woman I am today.
Personality-wise, I was a mix of shy and ambitious. While I wasn’t the most confident girl, I had a quiet strength and a heart for helping others. I’ve always been caring and empathetic, often putting others before myself, which is something that still defines me today.
One of my greatest joys as a child was going to work with my mom, who was a well-known nail technician in our community. I loved watching her transform her clients, not just physically but emotionally. That experience planted the first seeds of my love for beauty and wellness, even though I didn’t realize it at the time.
I also enjoyed creative activities—whether it was expressing myself through writing, dance, or fashion, I found joy in things that allowed me to dream and explore my individuality. Looking back, I can see how these interests and experiences laid the foundation for the work I do now: helping women embrace their uniqueness, prioritize self-care, and show up confidently in every area of their lives.
Growing up wasn’t without its challenges. I lost my father at a young age, which profoundly impacted how I viewed myself and the world around me. That loss, along with other hardships, forced me to grow up quickly and rely heavily on my faith. I didn’t always understand it then, but God was shaping me for a bigger purpose.
In many ways, my childhood was the training ground for the woman I am today—a woman who juggles countless roles with strength, compassion, and grace.
