Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Lee.
Hi Tiffany, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My whole life I’ve been taught to go and get it. I come from a hustler’s mentality which is a part of my DNA. From the time I was a little girl my mom always pushed me to be great and to always set myself apart from the rest. Not to be seclusive but to help me establish my own greatness in being a true leader. Now at 33, I’ve started to see the fruits of my parent’s labor in the things I value and with the things I’ve accomplished.
I graduated with a bachelor’s then decided to get a Master’s Degree. I got a 9-5 job and worked and worked and worked granted I’ve been working since I was 15 years old… So as you can see I know how to work. That goes back to the hustle mindset I was talking about. Even with my great accomplishments, something was still missing.
Fast forward 6years later I had my son (6) and that completely changed my life. It inspired me to be even greater. If you think college is hard try being a mom. The moment I knew I was going to be a mom I kicked into third gear. I birthed another baby “A Mother’s Touch Cleaning Service” my business, my legacy, and my gift to the world.
Born out of a mother’s love, my mission is to promote natural and eco-friendly cleaning tactics to help individuals and business owners and enhance the spaces they value. Some would say I’ve taken on alot but it’s what I do best. I wear many hats ima a mom, a practice manager, and a business owner. My life is not perfect nor are my circumstances but one thing for sure and two things for certain… I’ll get it! So that’s what I’ve done and what I continue to do.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Nothing is smooth I learn new things about myself as a mom a manager and a boss every day. I think my biggest struggle is thinking I’m owed something just because I have two degrees. I had to realize that no one or nothing owes me a thing.
If I want something I have to go get it. If want to know something I have to learn it. Prioritizing and time management have also been a struggle but I’ve managed and I’m better than I was yesterday.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I own a cleaning business called A Mother’s Touch. I pride myself on being innovative and a problem solver. What sets me apart is that I have multiple roles that by using the same tactics to achieve any objective whether it is with my 9 to 5 or my own business and in each role I remain true to who I am professional.
I’m known for my good work and initiative while doing the work. I want readers to know that my brand is a lifestyle and the work I put in transforms lives professionally or personally.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Doing what you set out to do. Achieving what you set out with no expectations. In whatever you do give it your best.
