Hello West Fork Cleaning, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
Hello, we are West Fork Cleaning Co., a family-owned commercial cleaning company located in Murfreesboro, TN. It is co-owned by three sisters, Tabitha, Jasmine, and Aubrey, and our parents, Joanna and Derek.

It all started at the beginning of the pandemic when we (Tabitha, Jazzi, and Aubrey) helped our sister Kassi with some places she was cleaning in Nashville. After some time helping her, We found that we love commercial cleaning and everything we can do for office workers to make their work environment feel clean.

When Kassi opened an event business, We took over her jobs in Nashville. We loved communicating with clients and helping them with all of their needs. We decided to make the company our own by changing the name to something that has meaning for us. We took inspiration from the river that runs behind our Family home. West Fork Stones River. We became West Fork Cleaning Co.

Our parents came with us for a couple of days to clean, and we all realized how amazing the work environment was. We always knew we wanted a family business, and commercial cleaning has been the perfect place for us to fulfill that dream. Our family motto has always been to “leave it cleaner than you found it.”

We welcomed our father, Derek, and our mother, Joanna, with open arms to join us on this journey. We have been passionately growing our family business ever since and are loving every day that we get to work together side by side. The biggest reward is when we get to hear customers’ responses to our results. When they are happy, we feel we’ve done our job.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
In commercial cleaning, it’s hard to convince someone that you are better than your competition until you’ve actually cleaned their space. That’s one thing we have struggled with the final sale of our service to a potential client.

Once a company allows us to take on their cleaning needs they are completely pleased with our services, and we stay positive because we know our quality of work is what keeps people with us. It’s always a struggle to outpace other companies that may offer lesser services, especially in a recession-driven economy.

One of the biggest challenges came at the very beginning of our transition to ownership. Our largest and longest-standing client, a growing company, had to move to a larger multiplex. That new location provided janitorial services to the building, so we were no longer needed. After working happily together for so many years, we bid them farewell, and they left us with their highest recommendation. We cherish client relationships and wish them well in their future endeavors.

We are a full-service commercial cleaning company. Our company offers customized cleaning services to help keep your business/office space not only clean and sanitized but also maintained. All of our crew are fully cross-trained in all facets of the wide array of services we offer. We clean entrances, offices/ cubicles, common areas, conference rooms, break rooms, restrooms, kitchens, hallways, outdoor entrances, and Courtyards.

We can reorder/ stock kitchen, bathroom, and office supplies. We also offer trash removal, window cleaning (no higher than two stories), and carpet and upholstery cleaning services, all on a customized basis. Whether you need a one-time deep cleaning service done or once, twice, or three times a week.

We can cover all of your commercial cleaning needs, and we customize all of this to your unique wants. We know a clean environment is a positive environment, and a positive environment is where the best work gets done. We are licensed and insured and will get the job done right.

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
It often surprises people to learn about the size of our family. Our mother and father had seven children together, creating a lively and bustling household for us to grow up in. The reactions we received when bringing up our family size have always been intriguing to us, as it was simply our norm. Some of us have started our own families.

Now, when we all get together, we even have to admit it’s hard to ignore the sheer size of our group. It’s a comforting feeling for everyone to be surrounded by that familiar environment once again, as we have always been a very tight-knit group.
