We recently had the chance to connect with Jones Kolbinsky and have shared our conversation below.
Jones, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. Have any recent moments made you laugh or feel proud?
Absolutely not. Laughter is for folks on the left side of the bell curve… The Laugher Curve, if you will… As an intellectual, I refuse to laugh at anything that doesn’t tickle my ideological fervor, or instill a sense of wonder and awe… unless it’s re-runs of the Chappelle Show or Mad TV, that shit is SILLY XD
I swallow my pride at every opportunity I can get. Pride is for the weak. Pride is for the ambitious. I have no pride because I have no ambition. I piss success… what’s there to be prideful about? Just because I pee success I should have pride in that? Every time I need to take a leak, I’m supposed to be happy? I’m supposed to be fulfilled? I’m supposed to say to myself “Hey, nice job peeing fella!” No, because I dont ever say that to myself… What kind of a question is this???
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Jones. I am a Musical Comedic Business Artist, or MCBA for short. As a MCBA, I create music and comedy and art and stuff, but I do it solely to maximize profits for my LLC and all of our shareholders. Imagine every art school dropout pot-head slacker… but imagine if they had 100 million dollars to play with… That’s basically what a MCBA is… It is my life’s mission to make transformative art during my lifetime that instills a feeling of complicity with our awesome system and country. I hope to make music, comedy, or art that supports and never challenges the status quo.
I hope to create a network of fellow MCBAs through my LLC, the Playing Your Rad Awesome Music Is Dope foundation (or P.Y.R.A.M.I.D. for short). Essentially I have created a completely unique business model, where each artist can pay into our system in order to have other members interact with their art. Meanwhile, if THEY get 5 or more of their friends to sign up underneath them, their artistic views, clicks, and online interactions will be given a boost, and they will be eligible to make a little bit of that initial money back. But you need to get in IMMEDIATELY! The quicker you sign up, the more of a chance you have to been seen and get lots of clout for your art! I want to turn everyone into the superstar their parents told them they’d be!!!
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
As a boy, my sister had a giant stuffed dog. It must have weighed 50 pounds. One day, during our side-by-side piano lessons in the sitting room, I missed a note. My sister commented that I missed the note, but that it was “OK” and that I should “keep practicing”… the GAUL! The DISRESPECT! The MADNESS! I was boiling hot, red with rage. I needed an outlet and I needed it fast. I took my father’s prized hunting knife and gutted her stuffed doggy. A fitting consequence for such an insult if you ask me! That was when I first understood power. And it has never left my side
Do you remember a time someone truly listened to you?
No. I dont need anyone to listen to me. I have my own spirit to listen to, and that same spirit speaks to me. It tells me what to do, where to go, who to trust, how to properly leverage my LLC, and what art to make. Listening is for people on the left side of the bell curve. Just ask the voice in my head!

That those on the left side of the bell curve should be forced to never make art or money or have fun. They are dumb people and should be taken advantage of just like evolution suggests
