Today we’d like to introduce you to Ann Truong.

Hi Ann, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
My father was a carpenter and builder, so I grew up around beautiful custom homes for the majority of my life. I’ve really learned to appreciate not just the design of homes but the process it takes to help potential buyers find the perfect home.

I realized early on, I had a keen eye for detail, and this has become an invaluable asset when it comes to advocating for my client’s specific needs. After the purchase of our first home and investment property, something ignited within me to continue to grow within this field and to expand our real estate portfolio.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There are challenges any time you’re a parent and you have many conflicting responsibilities. I was actually in the medical field, with a successful business, so transitioning to real estate was not the easiest. I would work in the daytime, take classes, and study during nights to obtain licensure, all while being a mom.

There is also the issue of the saturated real estate market. Making a name for yourself can be difficult, but if you work honestly and with integrity, word-of-mouth, family and friend referral, and social media can really make an impact on the positive growth of your business.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
One of the most appealing aspects of working as a real estate agent is that each day is different. Meeting new people from various walks of life, seeing new places, and responding to the changing needs of buyers and sellers—which often means shifting gears at the last minute.

As a realtor, getting to know new people ensures that everyday on this unique career ladder is different and engaging. But establishing trust with my client is one of my main focus. The more I get to know my client, and the more they get to know me, the easier the process. They can trust that I will find the best home or investment property for them or that I will find their house the best buyer.

I help clients all over Middle TN and all surrounding Nashville TN area. I would love the opportunity to meet you and help you achieve your real estate goal.

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
It’s never too early or too late to follow your true passion. You could be fresh out of high school or well into retirement age. Whatever motivates you to excel and challenge yourself daily is worth the pursuit; just take a deep breath and a leap of faith.
