Life & Work with Anna Henry

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anna Henry. 

Hi Anna, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
My whole life I have always been a bit of a free spirit. Always loved glam, dressing up, and all things glitter and bright. I never really felt like I fit in anywhere and felt there was a calling on my life but was unsure what that meant. Life can be fun and exciting but it can also be very painful and difficult. Through all of the pain I experienced, I ended up finding my true purpose in life. I want to encourage others that no matter what you have been through, that you CAN get through it and that there is always light at the end of the tunnel. My goal is to help people turn their pain into power and find their purpose in life as well as not be afraid to be their true authentic self. 

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Gosh, I wish I could say this road has been easy but it has been outrageously difficult. There is no rule book that teaches you how to go against the norm and build a life for yourself. We are taught from a very early age that you must do well in school so that you can get into a good college because that is what matters in life and that is how you will become successful. I did go to college and went through all of the motions just to graduate and realize that I would never use my degree because what I am supposed to do with my life is tell my story and build a brand around that. 

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a content/digital creator. I create fun and alluring content as well as work with brands to help promote and sell their products. I also have my own brand called Anna Kabana which centers around my life story. 

What’s next?
As of now, I am currently working on getting my life story in its entirety filmed and out into the world. I have been working on merchandise designs and will be relaunching my website as well. I am outrageously excited for the future and know that big things are ahead. I also plan to vend at events and do motivational speaking engagements.
