Life & Work with Anthony Rodriguez

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anthony Rodriguez.

Hi Anthony, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
My musical journey began at my home church. I was given an opportunity to play, and from there I continued my love and passion towards music. Today, I have my own piano program where I teach my enrolled students the art of piano. Aside from that, I am a musical producer that currently works in music productions and in film music as well.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Well, the struggles never really stop. It just gets handled a little better. The road to reaching my goal has many blocks, you deal with people not helping you, or supporting you; finding ways to get yourself out there beyond releasing music. It’s always easy to release it but afterwards it’s a chess game to bring out the best of your music into the ears of fans. But like every business, there are ups and downs. It comes with the job.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a professional musician that works in just about any department in the music field. Primarily I’m a pianist, and musician. I’ve been making music since I was kid and I’m known for those two things; pianist and music-producer. I’m a bit hard on myself, at the moment, to be able to work with great people and have my newly built music production studio up and running. And of course, to be able to have my music out in the world!

What sets me apart is that I’m just that kind of guy that is willing to learn to stay relevant in this music business. I’ve incorporated modular synthesis and that alone sets me apart. Just the will to reinvent myself when needed. At this time, I’ve been reinventing myself over and over again.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Mental toughness, faith and always remembering your love for the music. Never giving up.
