Hi Asjae, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My journey of becoming a full-time Content Creator & Fashion Influencer began a little over a year ago. At the top of last year, I quit my 9-5 job as a visual merchandiser to take a chance on me. During this time frame, I started creating content every day. This allowed me to develop the type of fashion content I wanted to create, put in place a content schedule, & grow as a creator. In the social media world, consistency is key.
The more consistent I became the more my following grew. As my presence on social media became more relevant brand deals started rolling in. From small brands to bigger well-known brands, from gifted collaborations to paid partnerships. I worked with many brands over these last two years, but during the winter of last year, I landed my first long-term collaboration with a major brand called Parade which recently partnered with Target. This was a turning point in my career Not only did working with Parade open up doors & opportunities to work with more brands it also taught me a sense of professionalism.
For instance, I’ve learned how to manage my deliverables, how to follow content guidelines, & to meet deadlines. During this time, I’ve also been able to define my style & upgrade my look. This journey has required patience, endurance, courage, & faith. However, I’m not where I want to be in my career just yet but I’m truly grateful I took that leap Of faith and that chance on me.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The journey of becoming an influencer & content creator hasn’t always been a smooth one. I remember when there was a time when I would spend hours on one video and only get a few likes & a couple of views. There were also times when no brands would work with me until I hit at least 2000 followers. I’ve also encountered not having all the equipment I needed to build sets to make my vision come to life.
So I resulted in using household items, purchased things from Five & Below, and scouted out locations to execute high-quality content. Other struggles I face can be mental struggles constantly pushing myself to create despite the numbers, despite how many rejections I get. Though I’m faced with certain struggles I am grateful for them because they make me who I am today.

I specialize in Fashion Tutorials & Lifestyle content. I share my fashion tips & my life through social media to inspire others. I am known for thrifting an entire outfit & making it a look.
I’m also known for showing others how to look expensive without breaking the bank. I am most proud and grateful for the opportunity to share my fashion tips & hacks with others. What sets me apart from others is I do my own thing, I set the trend instead of following them.
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up.
My favorite childhood memory was going to the lake every summer with my family. We go camping, fishing, & jet skiing.
