Hi Bailly, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’ve been immersed in the world of performance my entire life. Growing up, I was fortunate to be part of my mom’s dance company, where I was able to learn the fundamentals of what it means to truly be a performer. I also dove into musical theatre throughout elementary/high school and participated in every talent show opportunity I could. These experiences shaped my passion for the stage and solidified my love for music and performing.

It wasn’t until 2020 that I truly began to take my music career seriously. Seeing local artists around me thrive and succeed made me realize that pursuing music was not just a dream, but a real possibility. I began dedicating myself to bettering my craft, expanding my knowledge of the industry, and building connections.

Since then, my journey has been filled with exciting achievements. I’ve released two singles, performed at the Virginia Beach Audacy Festival, and was even recognized by one of my musical inspirations, Timbaland– a Virginia lengend! Throughout it all, my faith has been my guiding force. I truly believe that without God’s direction, I wouldn’t be where I am today, and I continue to trust in His plan for my journey.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Being an independent artist is a tough journey. It often means starting from scratch and relying solely on faith to turn your dreams into reality. I’ve struggled with self-doubt and questioning whether I am “good enough” to do this. There was a time when I felt overlooked and unsure if I could be taken seriously as an artist. But I’ve learned that there’s incredible power in simply believing in yourself and stepping into the version of you that you envision. Sometimes, you really just have to fake it until it becomes reality.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a multifaceted recording artist in the realm of modern R&B/Pop music. Known for being an entertainer, blending my background in dance and musical theatre into my music repertoire. I am most proud of the confidence and drive I’ve developed throughout the years, to chase my dreams. My authenticity stands out as an artist with my vibrant personality and genuine storytelling. I embrace my vulnerability and confidence in sharing both my struggles and triumphs through my music.

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
Trust the vision you see for yourself. It is possible. The only way that it isn’t possible, is if you stop. I wish I could go back and tell myself to just trust yourself! Just because you’re learning and trying to find your way, doesn’t mean you don’t have what it takes to make it.
