Today we’d like to introduce you to Caleb & Brittany Griffin.

Hi Caleb & Brittany , so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
We are Caleb and Brittany, a husband and wife team based out of Tennessee. We have been married for 16 years, can finish each other’s sentences and ultimately share the same vision. This is what makes us the perfect partners in business and all things creative. We met at school in Los Angeles where Caleb was earning a film degree and Brittany was studying communications. One night after we began dating, we were doing a Bible study in Caleb’s car and the passage was James 1. We got to verse 17 that says “Every good and perfect gift comes down from the Father of lights in whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.” Our whole story of getting together had God’s name all over it. We looked at each other and said “That is our verse!” We claimed it over our relationship and our life. We got married on January 17th – 1/17 – solidifying it’s place in our life story forever.

Caleb has extensive experience in film and cinema, while Brittany’s background is in direction, choreography & design. Our talents combined, paired with 16 years of understanding what it takes to make a partnership work, have led us to success in what we do. Whether it is capturing all of the beautiful moments our couples experience on the biggest day of their lives, documenting the camaraderie and bond of athletic teams, or helping businesses tell their story in a way that connects to all of their clients, we love story telling and we are good at telling yours!

We are there to capture those moments that are gone in a blink, making time stand still forever.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Our road has been (mostly) smooth- this is in large part due to the fact that we serve a God who comes and does all that needs to be done. We are parents of young children. Our biggest goal in life is to make sure they grow up knowing they are loved by God and by us, while ensuring they are kind people who contribute to their community and give just as much (if not more) than they take. Brittany homeschools both of our children, and runs a non-profit children’s theatre that she and her mom and a few close friends founded, Inner Light Family Theatre. Caleb has an additional film and marketing business and a Youtube channel, 12 Spies. Because of all of our endeavors, there isn’t a lot of downtime, and since forming Good and Perfect Creative Co, we haven’t spent a lot of time promoting it. I would say our challenges are that people don’t know about us. Having said that, we have had some incredible clients find out about us with no explanation as to how, other than God. He orchestrates all that we do. And who better to trust?

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Good & Perfect Creative Co was formed initially for us to work together filming weddings. We love love. We love two people finding each other and committing their lives to one another. We love a good love story. And we love telling stories. So it was the perfect idea. The funny thing has been that most of our projects have been outside the wedding industry.

We followed three cheer teams to Nationals in Florida and made documentary style videos of their experiences. That is something we never imagined ourselves doing, In fact, we almost said no when they asked us. But after giving it some thought and some prayer, we decided to do it. And wow are we happy we did. It was a wonderful experience!

We specialize in story telling. A good story is worth your time. People gather around TVs, movie theaters and pack out Broadway shows. Why? Because we all love a good story. Especially when it is told well.

And thats what we do at Good and Perfect Co.. We take your love story, your team’s story or your company’s story and we tell it in a way that is unforgettable.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
I think they main qualities that are important to our success are –

FAITH – And I don’t just mean belief in Jesus. That’s important. But I mean full fledged certainty that He is who He says He is. That His ways are higher than our ways and that when He says ‘ask, and I will do it” He isn’t playing around. If you miss that, you miss everything.

EXCELLENCE – Excellence is important to us. If our name is on it, it’s going to be done well. We don’t leave stones unturned. Lazy gets you nowhere. We believe that, unfortunately, in our society, excellence is becoming a thing of the past. We refuse to follow that trend. Excellence is a higher calling. And we will always reach for it.

HONESTY – There is no way around it. The truth matters. Being upfront and honest is crucial to making lasting relationships with our clients. A good name is so important, and it takes excellence and honesty to not just build a solid reputation, but to sustain one.

Aside from all of this – we are not afraid of hard work. We don’t mind sweating and we love getting our steps in. There is always an extra mile to go, and we happily walk it together.
