Life & Work with Damien Horne of Nashville

Today we’d like to introduce you to Damien Horne.

Hi Damien , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Damien Horne is a Nashville-based recording artist, songwriter, speaker, and philanthropist whose journey has been defined by resilience, faith, and purpose. After experiencing homelessness while pursuing a career in music, Horne persevered to become a nationally recognized entertainer, sharing stages with artists including John Legend, Keith Urban, Bon Jovi, and The Commodores. He is also a founding member of The Magi, a two-time TEDx speaker, and a co-host of the television series The Song.

Beyond the stage, Horne is the co-founder of The Good Good Life, a nonprofit dedicated to helping people discover purpose while serving communities through projects such as clean water initiatives, educational support, and humanitarian outreach. His story of overcoming adversity has inspired audiences across the United States and internationally, making him a sought-after performer and motivational speaker. Through his music, storytelling, and community work, Horne continues to encourage others to find hope, embrace perseverance, and live a life of purpose.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t.. grew up in poverty and single parent home. Became homeless multiple times as well.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I love creating and performing music but most of all positively impacting the lives of others with my gifts!

What were you like growing up?
I was confident and I believe a little more mature for my age mainly because I had to grow up fast to survive. But my heart has always been tender and compassionate towards those who were in need of help
