Life & Work with Hanihe Dyer and Sam Graham

Today we’d like to introduce you to Hanihe Dyer and Sam Graham.

Hi Hanihe and Sam, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Sam and I have been friends for years and even roommates at one point. He started in real estate several years ago. Our business was born out of necessity. He was looking for stagers, and he couldn’t even get a return phone call. I was starting to think about my future career plans having spent the last few years at home with my small children and no interest in returning to an office job. A few short months later, my basement was filled with furniture! We built our business slowly and organically, and we are happy to move into a warehouse space soon!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I think it’s been relatively smooth. I am risk-averse, so we were very methodical about our expansion. There were certainly nights that we were staging at midnight, and we even borrowed furniture from my mom for our very first job. But we have great families and support from so many friends that got us through those rougher periods.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We are a home staging company that specializes in vacant homes. I think we are known for a modern and eclectic style. I am so proud that we built this business from the ground up with our own blood, sweat, tears, and a little luck. As Nashville natives, we have a special affinity for our hometown. Also, Sam is an active Real Estate Agent, and he understands what Realtors need to successfully market a home.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
We have both always had an interest in design. We love walking through renovations and new constructions homes. Add to that my love of efficiency and Sam’s overall positive sensibilities, and we are a match made in heaven!
