Life & Work with Jesse Mancha of Nashville

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jesse Mancha.

Jesse Mancha

Jesse, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I was born and raised in Las Vegas. I went to school at UNLV. At 18yrs old I started in the jewelry business. At 22 I went to the Wynn Las Vegas, which is where I met Jason, who had his time pieces at the Wynn hotel. After 10 years at Wynn and Company, I wanted a new challenge. I discovered that Jason wanted to open a store at the soon to open Cosmo Hotel. We opened that store in 2011. Since then we opened the Beverly Wilshire boutique, a Miami location, and a Tokyo location. Overtime, my role changed from Regional Manager to President of Retail. Nashville is our most recent boutique.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It is a newer brand, so we entered the market roughly 25 years ago. It has been fun to see the reaction and reception to the brand overall. I feel it has been a smooth transition, because the brand translates well for celebrities and the everyday consumer. We’re so unique, you don’t see what we carry at other stores. We have an artistic appeal mixed with high end luxury. I enjoy seeing the foot traffic and explaining the brand to new customers.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
In general I like to think about what separates us from others, which is our machinery and craftsmanship. A lot of our custom pieces are possible, because we have that ownership of the process. We get to communicate with our clients and work on pieces together to achieve their dream piece. The trust our clients have with us is something I’m very proud of.

Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
In general, I like to think I do, but I’m always on the go so I have a hard time focusing. I’m constantly traveling between our different stores, so I try to find inspiration from other sources. Something that Jason taught me.
