Life & Work with Josh And Christina Dix of Nashville, Tennessee

Today we’d like to introduce you to Josh And Christina Dix.

Josh and Christina, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
It all started over 10 years ago when I photographed my very first destination wedding in Key West, Florida. Not long after, that special day was published—and that’s when I knew wedding photography was what I was meant to do. What started as just a dream has grown into the most beautiful profession, where my husband and I now get to photograph and film weddings together. None of it would’ve been possible without the love and support of my husband, our family and friends, and the amazing couples we’ve had the honor to work with.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Owning a business and being in the wedding industry hasn’t always been easy. Like any journey, it’s come with its challenges—some small, some tougher than others. But through every obstacle, we’ve grown stronger, wiser, and more passionate about what we do. If there’s one thing this journey has taught me, it’s the power of perseverance and the importance of never giving up on your dreams.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
We’re Christina and Josh, the husband-and-wife team behind Trace Creek Manor Photo & Videography. I lead the photography side of our business, while Josh is the creative force behind our videography. What excites us most isn’t just capturing beautiful moments—it’s the incredible couples we’ve met and the meaningful relationships we’ve built along the way. So much of what we’ve accomplished is thanks to them, and we’re endlessly grateful for their trust and support.

How do you think about happiness?
In the moment, it can all feel a bit intense—even overwhelming at times. But when I look back at everything we’ve poured into this journey—the hard work, the dedication, the 5-star reviews, the features and publications—it fills me with so much pride. So much has happened over the past 10 years, and every step has been worth it.
