Kayla Black is the CEO and founder of KLipsBeauty. She has always been into makeup, fashion, & modeling. Dealing with difficult people and circumstances, she lost her way in the beauty industry. She started to feel less beautiful, less confident, & less capable. In 2020 she decided to start KLipsBeauty to help women across the world with self-esteem.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Some of the struggles have been making the wrong decisions not doing enough research.. Knowing how business works. It has been a happy medium being an entrepreneur. Learning how to market and get your name out there.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a creator. I create lip gloss, music, and food. My business is KLipsBeauty and my artist name is KayRi. I am most proud of not giving up. You would be so surprised how far you’d go from not giving up. I feel like what sets my business apart from others is that I create content and stories behind my product. I also make most of my products from scratch and still have great quality. My products have stories to relate to and make you feel them when you have them on.

What makes you happy?
What makes me happy personally is my family. I have an amazing boyfriend and two twin boys who love me so much. What makes me happy professionally is that I am changing mentalities. I’m inspiring so many people.
