Today we’d like to introduce you to Laura Dodd.

Hi Laura, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
Posting random TikToks turned into a passion and eventually a mission. I’ve built a brand around promoting body positivity and personal growth as a single mom.

I have experienced firsthand the impact that self-acceptance and self-love can have, particularly in the face of adversity. I want my brand and my message to be a reminder to others that regardless of what they are going through, it is possible to overcome it and become a better version of themselves.

Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My journey hasn’t been without its hardships, but I’ve always been determined to succeed. When I faced those who tried to burn my business and myself to the ground, I could have given up.

But instead, I chose to use that experience as a catalyst to grow. I have persisted and continued spreading love and joy despite any obstacles. And while there may be more obstacles in the future, I won’t let that stop me from pursuing my passion. This is my story, and I am grateful for every challenge I’ve faced and overcome.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
My TikTok journey began with a pair of the infamous “TikTok leggings”. Little did I know that my video would go viral and kickstart my newfound journey on the social media platform! Since then, I’ve had over 15 successful videos, showcasing my home improvement projects, funny mom moments, and everything in between. When I first joined TikTok, I never expected it to go viral, let alone multiple times!

My content is all about sharing my everyday life, whether it’s showing off my latest home improvement project or doing random “mom things” around the house. As a mom, I’m always finding ways to keep things interesting, and my TikTok is no exception. You can expect to see a lot of leggings and DIY projects.

I believe my unique sense of humor, engaging response to comments, and love for leggings have set me apart and helped me build a loyal following.

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
Nashville, Tennessee, is a city that truly speaks to my soul. As someone who loves music and vintage vibes, it’s no surprise that I’m drawn to Nashville’s rich culture and stunning scenery.

One of my favorite trips to Nashville was for the CMA Fest. The city was alive with energy and music – it was an experience like no other. There’s just something about this city that keeps me coming back time and time again.
